Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contribution(s). I am glad to see that you are discussing a topic. However, as a general rule, while user talk pages permit a small degree of generalisation, other talk pages such as Wikipedia talk:Help desk are strictly for discussing improvements to their associated main pages, and many of them have special instructions on the top. They are not a general discussion forum about the article's topic or any other topic. If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them, consider asking at the Teahouse. Thanks. lavender|(formerly HMSSolent)|lambast 02:17, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your message. Unfortunately, the policies regarding the type of message I wished to post are not clear as to what is permissible and what is restricted. Obviously, I require support on where I might post such a message. Your suggestion, "If you have questions or ideas and are not sure where to post them.." is quite condescending. Does my attempt to "post" such material appear appropriate and acceptable for the location where I placed it? You say, "If you have questions.." Is there any doubt that I do need support from someone who is more familiar with "Wikipedia" messaging than myself? You make it sound like I am playing a "joke"; that I do, in fact, know what to do and am merely playing a prank on the Wikipedia staff. And I might do this because..? Really, my pursuit of the answers which I was seeking have suddenly become less important due to the reply I have received in this regard. Thanks for nothing. Hey, I completed college, too. I am not so "simple" as I may appear. You are not so "helpful" as you might wish to appear. Goodbye. Remoay (talk) 02:43, 3 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
