A belated welcome![edit]

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Revdocable! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

If you don't already know, you should sign your posts on talk pages by using four tildes (~~~~) to insert your username and the date.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! Jauerbackdude?/dude. 13:26, 27 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"You guys"[edit]

You recent edits mentions this. Does that include every one of the million or so people who have edited Wikipedia? We assume good faith. Edit summaries that insult nearly everyone reflect badly on the person who writes them. Be constructive if you want to encourage other editors to assist you. No, that includes only the very small percentage who actually control what's published and what isn't. Revdocable (talk) 03:20, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
And nothing I wrote insults "nearly everyone." Rather, it justifiably criticizes the comparatively very small number who actually control the content herein. Revdocable (talk) 03:22, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
"We assume good faith." Does that include every one of the million or so people who have edited Wikipedia? Did you seek permission from every one of them to speak on their behalf, or are you just that arrogant? Perhaps you, like me, were referring only to the small group that actually has editorial control over Wikipedia.
I would further point out that I did not ask other editors to assist me. Revdocable (talk) 14:32, 26 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
