as to your edits on C-Squat- first off, you've got to take an encyclopedic tone, ie you shouldn't say "we are doing such and such", because ostensibly the article is not written by c-squat by wikipedia editors.

Second, I'm not convinced everything should be changed to "See Squat". i'm assuming you live there, but we have to go by what can be cited and verified- notice in any article mentioning C-Squat, it says "C-squat". On top of that, in my own (non-verifiable) experience, i've never ever seen a flier for a show at "see-squat", for the dozens of shows i've been to and the half dozen i've played there. I've been out of the city for a couple years now, so maybe you guys have changed the name, but unless the name change is serious, rather than a short term joke, and you can somehow convince me of that, I dunno. (If that's what happens, btw, the article should also be moved accordingly.)

Third is the "legally/illegally" thing. why is it both? If UHAB owns the building, and the residents have permission from UHAB to be there, isn't it legal? I'm also kinda confused about the "working now to keep rent down later" thing, perhaps you could expand on that a bit?

So i'm gonna change some of it back until we can talk about this and figure it all out.

Looking to hear back from you --He:ah? 05:20, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps it's still illegally occupied in that they lack an occupancy certificate from the city? If so that should be clarified. --He:ah? 05:24, 2 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
