Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to A Fistful of Dollars may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s and 2 "{}"s and 1 "<>"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 08:58, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation Pages- Please follow the displayed guidelines when you edit

Hi there,

Thank you for your edit to the Rani article. However, as noted whenever one attempts to edit a disambiguation page:-

This is a disambiguation page [..] Some noteworthy differences from articles:
* Generally only one navigable link (blue link) belongs in each bulleted entry.
* The full article name should be visible; do not pipe entry names.

Therefore, I've removed the second blue links on those lines that don't relate to the subject itself.

If you need more help with editing disambiguation pages, you might find the Manual of Style on Dab pages useful. All the best, Ubcule (talk) 19:02, 7 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Grand Theft Auto V, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Escapist (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Replaceable fair use File:Stephanie Bendixsen.png

Thanks for uploading File:Stephanie Bendixsen.png. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 19:48, 18 January 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Trevor Philips.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 16:03, 25 February 2014 (UTC)

Trevor Philips GAN

Hey Rhain! I was taking a look at the Trevor Philips article, and I thought...this thing isn't far from being GA in my opinion. I'd love to have a good topic (perhaps one day even a featured) on Grand Theft Auto V. Seeing as we have the main article and the Development article quite developed, I thought the next move would be to work Trevor Philips up. If you're willing, I think we can both bring it up to GA soon -- some of the info from the Development article would be very additive to the Trevor Philips page (here). CR4ZE (t) 13:12, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Hey CR4ZE! After glancing at the Trevor Philips article again, I have to agree that it's not too bad, if I say so myself. If I have time, over the next few days/weeks, I'll look into working on it. I'd like to be able to bring it up to GA, too - same goes for the Development article. You worked hard on it, and I can't spot any flaws - you did a great job.
I've had a long break from Wikipedia recently, as I've been settling into a new school. Hopefully, after this week, everything will run smoothly, and I'll get back into editing again! I look forward to being able to help out around here; I've missed it. Also, thanks for the head-start on the Trevor Philips article! -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 15:43, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
I forgot to mention - here's some sources I haven't gotten around to using yet that could be helpful in either the Development or Trevor Philips article. 1 2 3 4 5 CR4ZE (t) 14:31, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Number 5 is the YouTube version of an IGN article, but you'd use the IGN article as a source. I just prefer YT's player. CR4ZE (t) 14:30, 24 March 2014 (UTC)

The Music of Grand Theft Auto V

I've sent The Music of Grand Theft Auto V over to GA Review. Hope that's all good with you. Also hope your new school is going well. Thanks. CR4ZE (tc) 11:59, 3 April 2014 (UTC)

That's fine with me; thank you for adding to the article! Also, thanks for the kind words about school. I've only one day remaining in the term, so I should have a lot more time on my hands in the coming fortnight. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 12:08, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
I changed schools in Year 10 and it wasn't very fun at first, but I settled in and found new friends. Then went back to my old school. :-) I don't know if it would help, but you could add your name to the Participation Box at GTA V's FAC as a "Major contributor" or something, and consider it a co-nomination. If it would help....I don't know...
All this review I'm getting done on GTA V articles is for my goal of getting a Featured Topic. Once we get the Music page passed and main article at FA, the next GAN would be Trevor Philips. The soundtrack could be brought to Featured List, but I think in order to do that it will need to be converted into table format to be consistent with FL's like the Guitar Hero music pages. That's a painful job, but we could split the workload at some point when you're ready. As for the Characters page, I'm going to get a Peer Review about what to do with it. I'm sorry but I think with that one, it's probably going to have be removed, or converted into a table without all the in-universe plot stuff. :-( It would be extremely difficult to get that up to FL status, because it's perfect for a Wikia but perhaps not here... For a Featured Topic we need at least 50% of the articles/lists as Featured Content. CR4ZE (tc) 13:27, 3 April 2014 (UTC)
Changing schools isn't easy, but I had some friends move across with me, so that made it a lot easier to settle in.
If adding myself as a "Major contributor" helps, then I'll definitely do it. Otherwise, I think all credit needs to go to you; you've done the most amount of work on these articles, and you deserve all the credit.
I'm going to get to work on the Trevor Philips article over the next few days, so you can review my progress, and add more information, if you like. As for the soundtrack, I'll get to work shortly on converting it to a table format (I can do all the work on it, I really don't mind); to avoid inconsistency, I'll work on it in my workspace. With the Characters page, there's no need to apologise; I realise it's not what Wikipedia is looking for, but once it was started, I thought I might as well keep it going. To avoid deletion, it could be changed to fit more in line with other FL articles, such as the List of Uncharted characters. However, that would take a lot of work. If you approve of this, I can definitely try to start fixing it up. I approve of your goal to get a Featured Topic, so I'll do all I can to help you achieve this. :-) -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 06:48, 4 April 2014 (UTC)
The thing with the soundtrack article is that I was thinking there would be a "year" column. Perhaps if you get the table going then I will look at how to add it. On the Characters page, if you could get it up to par with the Uncharted page that would be amazing. We will need to summarise the in-universe stuff as possible, especially for the protagonists as it's getting a bit unwieldy. Try and find development/reception information for any character you can. The big problem we have is we're using IMDb for the voice actors, when it's considered unreliable. In most cases they can be replaced with Behind The Voice Actors, which is considered reliable, however the page doesn't list every voice actor for every character like IMDb does... I'll try to see what can be done about that. Although, it's great to see you have the same enthusiasm I do and I 100% encourage you to keep up the great work. CR4ZE (tc) 07:02, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
I've actually completed working on the soundtrack article; you can find everything here. With the Characters page, I'll try and get it up to par with the Uncharted list. However, that's going to take a little while (but I'll definitely give it a shot). As for the Behind the Voice Actors source, I can try and contact the site staff and see if they can add more actors to the page; it seems as though they were going through the credits, and adding the actors in, but gave up at 'F'.
I feel as though I've been quite distant from Wikipedia for the past couple of months, so this is the least I can do. Plus, I enjoy it. I've really missed this. :-) -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 08:27, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
Wow, you got that done incredibly fast! It looks great. Feel free to put it up. I'll add over some of the information about the radio from the Development article, and then I think we can go for FL-status. I'll happily nominate it, but I don't mind if you beat me to it and nominate yourself instead! Great work. CR4ZE (tc) 12:54, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
Thank you! I'll put the tables into the main article shortly, and then nominate it for FL-status. There's not much that can be done to improve it now. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 14:06, 5 April 2014 (UTC)
In addition to reviewing the "Music of Grand Theft Auto" page, I left some input for FAC discussion in GTA V and am also happy to review Trevor once nominated. XXSNUGGUMSXX (talk) 05:19, 15 April 2014 (UTC)

I've just deleted the file File:Steven Ogg.png. I looked at the Twitter comment about using the image, but we need permission from the photographer, not from the person who you cropped out of the photo. The image also has to be released under a free license. You can see the allowable licenses at WP:ICT/FL. If we are provided with a clear statement that the copyright holder is releasing this content for redistribution under an allowable license, then the content may be used on Wikimedia projects. The email template at WP:CONSENT can be used if needed. If the actual photographer will send an email with the appropriate information to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and then let me know, I will validate the permission and restore the image. If you have any questions, please feel free to come to my talk page and ask. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 00:23, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

Edits at Wolfenstein: The New Order

Hello Rhain1999.
I noticed you have made large edits to the Wolfenstein: The New Order page and you have marked them as minor edits, for example here. In fact it seems almost all your edits are tagged as 'minor'.

Edits such as the one I linked to fall well outside the parameters as listed on the Help:Minor edits page:

"Checking the minor edit box signifies that the current and previous versions differ only superficially (typographical corrections, etc.), in a way that no editor would be expected to regard as disputable."

In addition you have not used edit summaries for the same edits. I would strongly suggest not marking such edits as minor, and giving some explanation of your edits in a summary. --220 of Borg 14:19, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

Gramd Theft Auto V

Hey, Cr4ze told me that you guys are both working on the list of gta 5 characters. I just started editing the article, and I'm wondering if you are up to any collaborations on bringing the page to FA? URDNEXT (talk) 15:16, 25 June 2014 (UTC)

@URDNEXT: I would absolutely be happy to collaborate on that page. It appears that you have done quite a bit of work on it, so thank you for that. If you need help on any specific tasks, do not hesitate to contact me! -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 08:02, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, Michael, Franklin and Trevor need some work/cleaning. I suggest we follow the List of Uncharted characters structure, since its FA. What do you think Rhain1999 URDNEXT (talk) 15:39, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
I agree that we should follow the List of Uncharted characters structure. However, we obviously must make some large diversions, as Uncharted is a franchise, while Grand Theft Auto V is an individual game. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 20:12, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I think that was what I did wrong before. I wrote the page as a franchise raher than a single game. Where do you think we should start? Rhain1999 URDNEXT (talk) 20:14, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
I think we should start cutting down on the "Protagonists" section; while characters in the Uncharted list summarise main elements of the plot and talk about the development of the character, the Grand Theft Auto V list only focuses on the plot of the game. I'll work on cutting this down now. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 20:19, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
What can I do? Rhain1999 I'll just work on the last charactes on the list, ok? URDNEXT (talk) 20:24, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
Sounds good! :-) -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 20:25, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
I just cleaned up a couple of characters and added some info on others. What I'm not sure about is MC Clip, where in one mission where Trevor takes a drunk couple back to their motel (or an Altruist cult), Weasel News reports on Clip's new album "The New Messiah". Here is the link to the mission:http://youtube.com/watch?v=9WcXEnTSrT8 - Although when I played it, it was at night; so I'm not sure if we have solid proof of it. What do you think Rhain1999? URDNEXT (talk) 21:12, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
Wiki link: http://gta.wikia.com/The_All_New_Messiah URDNEXT (talk) 21:14, 26 June 2014 (UTC)
Firstly, I don't know if MC Clip is notable enough to include on the article. Secondly, the reason that you played the mission at night is because it's a Random Encounter; these can occur at any time of the day. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 09:44, 27 June 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I think we better scrap him off. By the way, I got Trevor Philips to a B. We should do that page too! URDNEXT (talk) 09:52, 27 June 2014 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for July 5

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Columbia (BioShock), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ken Levine. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Trevor

Hey, I'm in some dire need for help with the Trevor Philips article. I can't seem to pull a good 2nd paragraph on the lead section (see: Nathan Drake (character)). That paragraph is supposed to talk about what inspired the character, but there's not enough sources to pull that off. Thanks for everything in advance! URDNEXT (talk) 14:12, 26 July 2014 (UTC)

A lack of obtainable sources doesn't necessarily lower the quality of the article; it's looking great at the moment. However, I'll see if I can find some more references (CR4ZE left me quite a few a little while ago). Thanks for all your hard work on the article! -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 14:42, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
If you need a reviewer for Trevor's GAN, I'll gladly look through the article. SNUGGUMS (talk · contribs) 14:55, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Alright, SNUGGUMS! I'll send it to GA next week, thanks for the help! URDNEXT (talk) 15:55, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Rhain1999! URDNEXT (talk) 15:59, 26 July 2014 (UTC)
Also, Rhain1999, can you revamp/improve the 2nd paragraph in the reception section? I think I quoted too much there. Thanks! URDNEXT (talk) 11:29, 27 July 2014 (UTC)
Thanks, Rhain1999! Now I think the article is ready for GA, what do you think? URDNEXT (talk) 15:40, 28 July 2014 (UTC)
@URDNEXT: If you feel that we've exhausted all possible sources (including those that CR4ZE left me), then I say go for it! Thanks for all the effort you've put into the article! You've truly done a great job. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 09:34, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
Rhain1999 Thanks! I'll put it on GA right nos and contact Snuggums to review it. Let's hope it passes, than we can focus on the list! URDNEXT (talk) 12:57, 29 July 2014 (UTC)
Hey, Rhain1999. Can you please take care of these twi things Snugumms mentioned in his review? ref#36 (Eurogamer) is for some reason repeated for Xav de Matos' review. Also, I'm skeptical about ref#37 (Joystiq) and ref#40 (Gamerant)

Given the nominations Steven Ogg and Trevor received, let's mention who won the awards they were nominated for. Thanks, URDNEXT (talk) 11:45, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

We did it

We did it, Trevor Philips is now a good article! We have to do this more often. URDNEXT (talk) 22:20, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

@URDNEXT: Congratulations! I agree; I'm going to try and see if Michael and Franklin can warrant their own articles (though I doubt it, since they're not as notable as Trevor, who is such a topical character in gaming recently). Beyond that, I believe the List of Grand Theft Auto V characters is shaping up nicely, and I'd like to see the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack as a featured list some day, too. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 06:39, 31 July 2014 (UTC)
What article do you think we should approach first? Some time ago, I tried doing a Michael article, but it ultimately failed because there wasn't enough information on him to warrant a page. So does the same for Franklin. I think we should take on Grand Theft Auto V Soundtrack first because it's much shorter and faster to do then the list of characters. What do you think? URDNEXT (talk) 12:29, 31 July 2014 (UTC)

Sleeping Dogs

Hey, Rhain, how's it going! I was wondering if you could help me with Sleeping Dogs (video game) since I really need help wit it. Ever since I joined Wiki I have been trying to tackle the article alone but I can't seem to do it by myself wit the amount of experience I have. Is there any way you could help me take it to GA? I know you usually only edit Rockstar related articles, but this one is rated B class so it should be an easy thing for both of us. What do you think? Thanks for everything in advance, URDNEXT (talk) 13:37, 1 August 2014 (UTC)

@URDNEXT: Sorry for the late reply. I'd love to help out on the article! My only problem is that I don't want to spoil the plot for myself; I've been meaning to get my hands on a copy of the game for a while now, but just haven't done it yet. If you need help with any of the other sections, I'll be happy to help out (as long as they don't include any plot spoilers). -- Rhain1999 (talk to me)

Hey

I noticed you haven't been very active recently. Is everything alright? URDNEXT (talk) 15:38, 22 August 2014 (UTC)

@URDNEXT: Have I really been less active? I feel as though I've been editing as much as usual. Well, I have a lot of exams coming shortly at school, so I have a lot of studying to do. I'll probably edit quite a bit over the weekend, though. I appreciate your concern, though. Thanks! -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 22:03, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
No problem. By the way, are you available with helping me with a little thing? URDNEXT (talk) 22:09, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
I guess I could try. What is the "little thing"? -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 22:16, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
Feedback on my draft for the Sleeping Dogs (video game) development section. It's currently on User:URDNEXT/sandbox. Since you helped Grand Theft Auto V get to FA, I thought you'd have experience to tell me what I should improve on the section, since me and Tezero will also be taking Dogs to FA in a week. Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack

Hi Rhian, I found a source that listed the deleted songs for the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack. I'll add it in due course. - Sam.

@Samuel J Walker: Firstly, thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia. They are appreciated. But there is a problem about them: we do not need to know about the deleted songs. As they are not a part of the Grand Theft Auto V soundtrack, they do not need to be included on the page. Of course, they could be included on the Grand Theft Wiki (or something similar), but I really don't think they're notable enough for Wikipedia. Thank you. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 20:31, 3 September 2014 (UTC)

@URDNEXT: If you get the task force up and running, then I'd be happy to help out here and there. I love open world games (despite not playing too many), so I'd be willing to lend a hand. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 22:47, 25 September 2014 (UTC)

GTA V Ref archiving

Hey Rhain, just a friendly reminder about the ref archiving we've been working on for Grand Theft Auto V. I think we're well over halfway there but there's still the last three subsections in Reception to go. Should we coordinate how to tackle the last of it together? CR4ZE (tc) 10:41, 3 October 2014 (UTC)

@CR4ZE: Alright, I'll have a go at archiving the references in the "Multiplayer launch" section later today. If I feel like it, I may do the other sections too. If not, then you can feel free to tackle one (or both) of them. Not long now! -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 03:45, 5 October 2014 (UTC)

The Code episode synopses

You really should have left them alone, particularly Ep1 where you removed the part about leaking the sex scandal as a diversion and made it sound as if details of the crash were leaked by Ian Bradley. Please don't edit any more of them! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.149.23.144 (talk) 05:52, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

If you feel that I removed too many details, feel free to put them back in. However, I am going to continue to edit the remaining episode summaries, as they are currently too long for the article (and the first three summaries were much longer). They contain too many intricate details, and need culling. Not to mention the awkward paragraphing. Thanks for your feedback. -- Rhain1999 (talk to me) 06:06, 8 November 2014 (UTC)

Hi Rhain. I think you might have to put another tick at the bottom of the Hard candy DYK nomination (assuming you think it's good to go).
