Trademarks[edit]

Talk to your corporate attorneys about the limitations of trademarks. A trademark for a term on clothing lines has nothing to do with the use of that term for non-related uses. Obvious example for an American: Life (cereal), Life magazine, and the old Game of Life (not to mention Conway's Game of Life, which was never trademarked). That your firm uses the name House of Pain for clothing has nothing to do with the historic existent of a band by that name. --Orange Mike | Talk 22:06, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
