Thank you for uploading File:Wright Timber raft.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Hello Rickh99. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, and that you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially egregious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to Black hat SEO.

To Magnolia6777 Magnolia677 : I am Rick Henderson Rickh99 the author of the history on the Wrights. I have spent years researching the Wright family history. My book is self-published and it is included as a reference. No one is paying me in any way to publish anything on Wikipedia. I wasn't aware that including my book as a reference would constitute a conflict of interest. Taking it out is simple and then the change can be made with the other reference only. Please advise if taking down the reference to my book is required. I have created a user page now with stated disclosure.

Can you demonstrate a reason why this needs a standalone article as an independent topic, and can't just be addressed in the history section of our already existing article on Hull, Quebec? Separate articles about old and new names for the same place are not a thing we automatically do as a matter of course for every city that's ever undergone a name change -- there needs to be a really important reason why separate articles would be necessary. The fact that old Bytown has a separate article from contemporary Ottawa isn't enough of a reason in and of itself; Ottawa's main article is already much, much longer than Hull's is, so some splitting up of Ottawa's article is justifiable on strictly size management grounds, but that doesn't mean Hull automatically needs the same treatment if its article isn't nearly as long.
