Auxentius of Bithynia

quick question, you added birth year category for St. Auxentius. I didn't because we only have a circa 400 birth year. Is it proper to add birth year categories when they are approximate? Not a challenge, just a question for my own edification -- I am in the process of adding a number of saints from the East and would like to be proper and consistent. Thanks in advance for your reply. I myself don't see the big deal with having them; they're actually quite useful and don't take up as much page room as if you actually wrote it all out in script. But that's what I just did. I never even knew there was such a thing as deletion review. I know that you only deleted it because of the previous (2 ) deletion debates, so I don't want to challenge your opinion. I did not create the Febraury ones, however the backlog rely do go back to early March, so whenever there was actualy any images sorted under that day I created a category for it rather than leave it hanging in limbo becase I did not have the time to delete them all myself at the time. Don't Delete It

Why is it vandalizm when other people post new things? This is not fair. Everything that I make has to be deleted? I look on Google before I post anything that you would think is nonsence and nothing that is worthy. Come on, don't do this. This is not for Hip Hop people, it's for everybody. Real people, so come on, please, don't delete anything. Categorys of things are like Year of Births. Year of Birth Missing is not worthy, but you intend to put that there, but that has nothing to do with categorys. The year of birth missing category got me to do something new, adding Signs, which is cool and I'll get people to be intrested in that person. Establishments and Disestablishments by year

The third and fourth parameters in Template:estcat are used to link to the preceeding year and succeeding years outside of the decade of the year in question. Have a look at the << and >> elements in Category:1918 establishments and see that (at present) they are missing from Category:1818 establishments. Why delete EMail, Web URLs?

I may be a rookie here, but there were URL links pre-existing on "KOME" page before I've lately embellished it. I don't recall seeing any policy proscribing such links (I've dabbled at law, too). What is your objection?

By the way (since you may be a veteran here): altho I understand the general idea that one should avoid autobiography and enumerating one's own accomplishments, in this not-that-old history of radio stations (and probably some other areas), a certain amount of detail from one's own resume is likely to be much more accurate than another's foggy recollections. Further, I can foresee the " in propria persona defendant questioning himself" scenario such as: "While yet technically "free-form", 1972 Program Director Jay William Weed instituted a red, green, yellow color code with which to monitor each DJs music balance". What is "party-line" or common practice in this regard?

User:No Guru, whom you are referring to when you state "as said above...", seems to have been satisfied by my explanation, which I will quote below:

So...I don't believe you have the authority to delete my images because: 1) my rationale has already been approved by one of your co-workers; 2) many, many other such images continue to be left alone (hopefully not due to favortism for some users over others); and 3) obviously, no true consensus has been reached regarding this matter. (Have you read the discussion page that No Guru referred me to?)

I'm being as polite as I can be...I hope you have an open mind to what I have written. All I'm trying to do is improve the quality of some Wikipedia articles, and I think it would be extremely wrong for you to delete my efforts, especially when this issue is still such a gray area. Angering Me

Hi this is in regaurds to the entry on Velvel Pasternak, I didn't realize how the talk page worked and didn't see your messages till after the page was deleted. I could probably be accused of putting up a vanity post, Velvel is my dad. On the other hand he's also one of the worlds formost expert's on Jewish music and put together (notated/compiled/edited/arranged) close to 200 music books. Being a niche subject the notablity guidelines might have a hard time applying but he's just as well known in the jewish music world as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shlomo_Carlebach or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debbie_Friedman. niether of whom has gotten a grammy or had a top 10 record.
