License tagging for Image:Ril logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ril logo.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 10:08, 5 September 2006 (UTC)

Anand Jain[edit]

If you have a close connection to some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Anand Jain, you may have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, edits where there is a conflict of interest, or where such a conflict might reasonably be inferred from the tone of the edit and the proximity of the editor to the subject, are strongly discouraged. If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Business' FAQ. For more details about what constitutes a conflict of interest, please see Wikipedia:Conflict of Interest. Thank you. utcursch | talk 11:07, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Anand Jain. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use Wikipedia:Sandbox for test edits. Thank you. utcursch | talk 13:11, 20 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't removing sourced information from the article. Your claim that the information is false, is challenged by the sources mentioned in the article:

  • "Anand Jain - the man behind Mukesh Ambani". Economic Times. January 04, 2005. Retrieved 2007-04-21. {{cite web}}: Check date values in: |date= (help) (cached)
  • "Anil quits IPCL board; accuses Anand Jain of conspiracy". Rediff.com. January 03, 2005. Retrieved 2007-04-21. {{cite web}}: Check date values in: |date= (help)
  • "Anil wins; Anand Jain out of IPCL". Rediff.com. June 18, 2005. Retrieved 2007-04-21.
  • "Anand Jain stays on IPCL board". The Hindu. July 14, 2005. Retrieved 2007-04-21.

Can you please specify what information in the article is inaccurate.

None of the information in the article is libelous, defamatory or slanderous -- the article just states the fact that Anil Ambani had differences with Anand Jain. This information is easily verifiable with above-mentioned sources. I'll add a few more newspaper citations to the article, if these are not enough for you.

If you still dispute the addition of this information, I don't have any problem with a formal dispute resolution process.

If you've not read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, I urge you to go through it. Thank you. utcursch | talk 08:18, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

December 2007[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. A contribution you made to Anand Jain appears to carry a non-neutral point of view, and your edit may have been changed or reverted to correct the problem. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. utcursch | talk 08:50, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, as you did to Anand Jain, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. utcursch | talk 04:21, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your final warning. Wikipedia is not your marketing department. You've repeatedly removed all references and important information from the article. Please stop manipulating the article Anand Jain to suit your needs. Please read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Manual of style. Thank you. utcursch | talk 04:28, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Editing from IP address is of no use. If you've any genuine concerns with the article, please discuss them on the talk page. There is no libel or misinformation in the article. You seem to be trying to whitewash the subject's association with the Ambanis, but that's an important part of the subject's business career and life. Even if you remove the information from Wikipedia, it's available all over the Internet on several news sites: just Google for "Anand Jain". So, please stop your attempts to remove this information from the article -- they're futile. utcursch | talk 05:19, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Ril logo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ril logo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:23, 24 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

May I ask why are you removing the Podcast link on the Reliance Fresh controversy repeatedly? Wikipedia works on a non-partisan approach and all views must get equal preference, that includes unpleasant views. In any case the podcast is quite fair in its approach. What's your problem? --Debashishc (talk) 05:26, 22 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Mr Anand Jain.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Mr Anand Jain.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Hekerui (talk) 19:53, 16 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because your username, Ril editor, does not meet our username policy.

Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below).

A username should not be promotional, related to a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive, or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "E-mail this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you feel that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding below this notice the text {{unblock|Your reason here}}, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.
