Copyright[edit]

  • It is almost never suitable to copy content from another web site to Wikipedia, as you did at User:Risean 12345/sandbox, for more than one reason, the most important being copyright. When you post anything to Wikipedia you release it for anyone in the world to reuse it, either unchanged or modified in any way whatever, subject to attribution to Wikipedia. It is very rare that the owner of a web site licenses content for such very free reuse, and in those few occasions when they do so, we require proof of the fact. We don't assume that content is freely licensed on the unsubstantiated say so of just anyone who comes along and creates a Wikipedia account. Certainly we can't accept material copied from a source which has a copyright notice saying "all rights reserved", as in the case of the text you copied. JBW (talk) 09:10, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

SSA22 moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, SSA22, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Notice

The article All the plants has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

We already have plant. This article doesn't serve any purpose here and WP:TNT applies. Not a worthwhile redirect either.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. This message originally was about a proposed deletion. Since the article was deprodded, I reverted myself. Apologies for the duplicate notification. Urve (talk) 08:49, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion discussion about All the plants[edit]

Hello, Risean 12345, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Urve, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, All the plants, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/All the plants .

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Urve}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

I have deleted the page as a copyright infringement since you appear to have copy and pasted the entire text without providing appropriate attribution. Furthermore, I have no idea whatsoever what you were trying to achieve with that page, and would appreciate an explanation. CaptainEek Edits Ho Cap'n! 18:18, 18 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I just noticed that an article you recently created, Henize 70, currently doesn't have any cite any sources. Wikipedia requires citations to reliable sources, in order for other editors to be able to verify the content of an article. You can read more about adding citation here. -- Asartea Talk | Contribs 16:30, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Spica Star[edit]

Hello, Risean 12345

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Spica Star for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons. For more details please see the notice on the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Your contributed article, Rigel star[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Rigel star. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Rigel. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Rigel. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Spiderone(Talk to Spider) 09:52, 20 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

what[edit]

i will not Remove all the Stars in the Universe

Hello and Welcome![edit]

Hello, Risean12345. My name is RomanSpa, and I wanted to say hello so you know me personally, and not just as someone participating in debates. I've been a Wikipedia editor for several years, and know that it can be a bit confusing to get started in creating and editing articles. I can see that you've created a couple of new articles recently that are being considered for deletion, and I just want you to know that this isn't a bad thing, and isn't directed at you personally. All that's happening is that we're trying to make sure that Wikipedia works well for everyone, so we're preventing existing encyclopedic content from being duplicated. In your case, you created All the Stars in the Universe, but the information you would need for this page is already covered in Lists of stars and its sub-lists. It's great that you want to work on this area, but rather than work on it on your own, the Wikipedia way is for us to work collaboratively. A good place to start would be to start checking the data that other people have assembled on Lists of stars and its related pages. Then you can gradually add extra new information as you find it.

I should also say that Wikipedia really needs editors who are interested in astronomy. If you're interested in this, please check out our Astronomy Portal. Also, as a new editor you may find it useful to take a look at our Teahouse - this is a great place for people who are just starting out in Wikipedia, and the regulars there are friendly and helpful. Have a great day, and I hope you continue to contribute to Wikipedia whenever you can! RomanSpa (talk) 14:11, 21 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 22[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of largest nebula, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page M27. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
