DYK for Kitab-ı Bahriye

[edit]

On 6 September 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Kitab-ı Bahriye, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the surviving copies of the Kitab-ı Bahriye contain a total of more than 5,700 maps? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Kitab-ı Bahriye. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Kitab-ı Bahriye), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hello, Rjjiii,

Please revert your closure of this AFD. It was a close call, many editors argued for deletion which makes it an unsuitable AFD for a NAC. This was a BADNAC and if you don't revert, I assume it will be taken to Wikipedia:Deletion review. Even an experienced NAC should not have closed this discussion and you are not experienced. In fact, since I've never seen one of your closures before, I'm guessing it was your first. Have you carefully read Wikipedia:Non-admin closure for advice on when and when it is not suitable to do a NAC? If another editor doesn't take this to DRV then I will so I recommend you revert your actions. Liz Read! Talk! 07:13, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Flying saucer, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bernard Newman.
