Speedy deletion nomination of [[:]][edit]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on [[:]] requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. Exxolon (talk) 18:31, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

August 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Team gP, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Guoguo12--Talk--  18:58, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with Team gP. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Guoguo12--Talk--  19:03, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at Talk:Team gP, you may be blocked for vandalism. Guoguo12--Talk--  19:11, 27 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reply[edit]

Hi, about the speedy deletion tag, just leave it on the page and give your explanation as to why the article should be kept on the talk page. The admins will not delete your page until they have read your explanation. The reason I tagged your article for deletion is that your group is not notable enough. Unless you can prove your team's notability by citing reliable sources, the article will be deleted as per the general notability guideline. Thanks.
