Dwelling on that 1 g thing...[edit]
... you know, I recently read somewhere that in order to use classic rocket fuel to travel to Alpha Centauri and back at 1 g, we'd need more than our entire Sun's supply of hydrogen, just to carry a few people— and all the fuel needed on the way. And where will we find the oxygen? Let's just forget it

Indeed, classic rocket fuel is not going to work. Something new is needed. Fusion? But there is plenty to see and do still here in our solar system! Rjljr2 (talk) 22:18, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
