RE: 2604:2D80:C005:86A0:7E2E:2BD7:A42F:5902

I blocked the IP for vandalism, but just be aware that per WP:UP#CMT, Policy does not prohibit users, whether registered or unregistered, from removing comments from their own talk pages, although archiving is preferred. If a user removes material from their user page, it is normally taken to mean that the user has read and is aware of its contents. There is no need to keep them on display, and usually users should not be forced to do so. There are a few exceptions, but vandalism warnings are not included on that list. Thanks. I had a momentary lapse in judgement. Also, said user seems to have blanked the talk page again, complete with block notice. Rlin8 (talk) 02:10, 2 March 2019 (UTC)
I tend to leave as-is, unless there's an unblock requested or the user starts spouting spam/vandalism on their talk page, in which case talk page access can be revoked. Feel free to ping me that starts to happen. SpencerT•C 02:15, 2 March 2019 (UTC)

Trouted

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

You have been trouted for: YOUR REASON HERE 122.177.145.164 (talk) 01:21, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

Alright, I will send you the details about the edited parts by the end of the day after compiling them together with references.

I probably deserved the wikitrout for various reasons, including putting a thing that hit me with the trout on my user page, but thanks for sending me the information. Rlin8 (··📧) 01:25, 16 May 2019 (UTC)

Regarding my Edits

Hello, My page edits were correct but I received a message from you saying they were incorrect and had been removed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.113.109.120 (talk) 08:03, 21 May 2019 (UTC)

Thank you for asking me through my talk page. I'm going to assume you're referring to this edit. The edit you made changing "player" to "plaer" seemed a lot like a test edit (which is generally forbidden, and should be handled at the sandbox) and was removed accordingly. Now, as for CeeCee Moore, a "World Renown Genealogist and Crime Fighter," there are a few issues with that. For one, there are no references, which means that those claims cannot be verified. Secondly, I generally find it dubious that a person can be a genealogist and a crime fighter at the same time. Thirdly, if this CeeCee Moore is as world-renowned as you say, he would be notable enough to warrant his own article, and there clearly is not any. If you can provide any way to verify that this individual did indeed graduate from Mt. Carmel, I will find that satisfactory. Rlin8 (··📧) 02:03, 22 May 2019 (UTC)
Before I forget, next time you use a talk page, remember to sign your message with ~~~~ next time. Thanks! Rlin8 (··📧) 02:10, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

Regarding edits

not sure why my Alex Guarnaschelli update was incorrect please clarify — Preceding unsigned comment added by Nvchicky (talkcontribs) 21:38, 22 May 2019 (UTC)

@Nvchicky: In talk pages such as these, we generally create new sections at the bottom and sign our posts with ~~~~. Now, as to your edits, our biography of living people policy absolutely requires that information such as you posted on the page be referenced with a citation. If you have any questions, just reply to me, and remember to indent your reply! Rlin8 (··📧) 05:49, 23 May 2019 (UTC)

Formulae in <math> tags do not show while logged in

So while looking at a certain page (which one is not important), I noticed that the mathematical formulae that used <math> tags were not appearing. I reloaded the page, and I noticed the formulae were there but disappeared as the page loaded. The LaTeX works, since the formulae show when I'm viewing logged out, so it has to be something with my account. Perhaps one of my scripts? Also, are issues like these appropriate for WP:VPT? Rlin8, In Special:Preferences#mw-prefsection-rendering, what setting do you have chosen for Math? WelpThatWorked (talk) 15:10, 10 June 2019 (UTC)
It could be due to a script, as you suggest, so why not try removing or disabling all your scripts to see whether that stops the problem? If it does, you can then try restoring them a few at a time to narrow down which one it is, and if not then obviously you can just restore all of them and forget about that as a possible cause of the problem.
