Re - International Aiki Peace Week - worth keeping[edit]
Robert I have nothing against the idea and have no problem understanding its importance to those involved. The question really revolves around its inclusion and importance to Wikipedia. The two are not mutually inclusive. On the page discussion page there is the inclusion criteria. Blogs, newsletters and web-sites are not considered primary reliable sources - mentions in the press are. What got my attention in the first place was the orphan nature of the article - it really just stood out there by itself. One way of looking at the AfD debate is as a spur to improve the article to meet standards or to consider other options. One possibility is to write an article on Aiki Extensions and merge this article into that or alternatively merge it into International Day of Peace. I stand by my original point - that as a stand alone article there is not enough there.Peter Rehse (talk) 09:05, 25 April 2013 (UTC)
