February 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Talk:Greatest Hits 1974–1978, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Talk:Greatest Hits 1974–1978 was moved to Talk:Greatest Hits 1974–78 by Rock'N'More (u) (t) redirecting article to non-existant page on 2010-02-11T22:43:05+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 22:43, 11 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

April 2010[edit]

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to The Beatles. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ~DC Talk To Me 18:57, 2 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to the page Talk:We're Going Wrong. Blank pages can confuse readers, and are overall not helpful to the Wikipedia project; furthermore, blanking a page is not the same as deleting it.

If the article you blanked is a duplicate of another article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate revision. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please use the appropriate deletion process. 5 albert square (talk) 18:36, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

September 2010[edit]

Please do not move or redirect articles, like you did to Beatles for Sale (EP), without first starting a discussion on the article's talk page and getting consensus. Thank you. Radiopathy •talk• 23:58, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you also redirected Beatles for Sale (No. 2); likewise, highly controversial edits like this need consensus. Radiopathy •talk• 00:19, 6 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Bo Diddley Budddy Holly.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Bo Diddley Budddy Holly.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 04:43, 9 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I get it[edit]

I have already been informed that professional reviews no longer belong in the infoboxes of album articles as you can see here. Thanks, but I don't need to be reminded again. --John of Lancaster (talk) 19:11, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Certification Table Entry - autocat[edit]

Hi there. I'm happy to see you use {{Certification Table Entry}} and I hope you find it useful. If you have any problem in applying it to a certain situation, please let me know (best to do that at the template talk page) and I'll do my best to provide requested features. I noticed you do not use autocat=true, which is a nice feature that automatically adds categories. I usually add it when I verify the certifications. Of course, it is not mandatory (the entire template isn't mandatory either). Best regards, and happy editing. --Muhandes (talk) 14:02, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Also note that I implemented queries from the new Music Canada database directly from the template, so there is no need for a special certref. Let me know if there are any problems with this. Best regards. --Muhandes (talk) 15:47, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Barelinks tag[edit]

Application There is a long discussion about this topic here (note that this link will become archived over time.) There is a consensus that this is appropriate and helpful. Once link rot has been fixed, please do remove the template. —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 21:05, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Vertigo 2005 certifications[edit]

Are you sure that some of the certifications you are adding are not for the music video to the song "Vertigo", instead of the Vertigo 2005 DVD as you are intending? Y2Kcrazyjoker4 (talkcontributions) 13:05, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaning link rot[edit]

I noticed you had cleaned the link rot in an article, which is great, but did not remove the maintenance tag when you finished. Please remember to remove the tag so it will be removed from the category and reduce duplication of effort. Thanks for your assistance. My76Strat (talk) 01:13, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
