Proposed deletion of Tray-Hoyt-Sheeler theory[edit]
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tray-Hoyt-Sheeler theory, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Wikipedia doesn't publish Original Research[edit]
I apologise for the phrase "made up one day" and have changed the wording of the PROD; but there is still a problem. It seems you are looking for somewhere to publish your original theory. I'm sorry, but that's not what Wikipedia is for. One of its three key content policies is that it publishes No Original Research - it is not a place for first publication of anything new. The other two are Verifiability (everything must be verifiable from independent, reliable sources), and Neutral Point of View. So if Einstein had come first to Wikipedia with his new theory, no, we wouldn't have published it; that's not what Wikipedia is for. JohnCD (talk) 21:08, 20 June 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. The article will disappear in five days, or sooner if you like to put {{db-author}} at the top (double curly brackets) which means "author requests deletion".
