Welcome[edit]

Hi, RogueMad2 beta. This is NOT some automated message...it's from a real person. You can talk to me right now. Welcome to Wikipedia! I noticed you've just joined, and wanted to give you a few tips to get you started. If you have any questions, please talk to us. The tips below should help you to get started. Best of luck!  Chzz  ►  09:10, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ようこそ
  • You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people.
  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

I have moved this help request from User talk:RogueMad2. I'm not quite sure why you are using multiple accounts, but please be very careful about that; see WP:MULTIPLE.  Chzz  ►  09:10, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at your contributions, I can't see any article that you have created recently. Perhaps you were logged in to a different account, or not logged in at all. You could check contributions for a different account by logging in to it, and clicking on 'My contributions' at the top.
Please do be very careful about using multiple accounts; each person needs their own account. Doing that will also avoid any further problems like this.
The best thing to do would be to look through my welcome, above, which explains how to create your own area to work on a page (3rd line down, "Play..." etc).
If you need further help, please use a {{helpme}} on your own talk page, or you could talk to us live.
Cheers,  Chzz  ►  09:10, 5 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as The Racist Omar Show, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I saw your note on the article talk page. Wikipedia does not try and collect all information; added information must be notable and verifiable. In this instance, it seemed the article subject was neither. Moreover, some of the information was demonstrably false, such as the origins of the show dating back to 50,000 BC (a time before civilization or agriculture). Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. --TeaDrinker (talk) 07:26, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Hey Spencer[edit]

Could you be a little more specific, as in which vandal? Thanks, SpencerT♦Nominate! 11:42, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 08:32, 22 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Chiranth's magic show requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable
