War and Destiny[edit]

Unless you are planning on adding articles for all those links to actors you are making, it's better to leave them unlinked. Please let me know, or I'll end up changing them back again. Being careful with your edits[edit]

Hi, I've noticed that you've made a mistake in one or two of your edits. For example, in this: [1]. one, you changes Bernice Liu's size, but you made her only 1.41m high, which is not the same thing as 5'8". And in this one: [2], you accidnentally removed the Cast heading at the top. Just a request that you be careful in some of your changes. Creating new articles[edit]

Hi there. The stubs for actors you're creating are indistinguishable from vanity or nonsense articles, and therefore people like me are often tempted to mark them for quick deletion. I suggest that when creating a new article that you put in a brief sentence or two just saying why that person or thing is worth having in an encyclopedia. Something along the lines of

'''Jon Do''' b. [[April 1]] [[1978]] is a [[Hong Kong]] actor who has appeared in numerous soap operas and films. He is most known for playing the part of Sam in the Chinese version of the TV series '[[Cheers (Chinese Television series)]]'

is more useful for an encyclopedia than just his height, weight and shoe size. That way, people are less inclined to fill your article with speedy deletion tags. Just a hint. --Aim Here 03:22, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

War and Destiny link on TVB[edit]

I noticed you added the link to War and Destiny again from the TVB article after I removed it. As I understand it, the list should be for notable series, and my opinion is that a show on the list should be well-known by TVB audiences and have some cultural impact. War and Destiny isn't even out in Hong Kong, so I don't think it's fair to say that it's notable. If it is notable, then every show on TVB right now (such as 《肥田囍事》) would be even more notable, and then we will have a very long and useless list.

I think the list already has too many shows from only a few years ago and not enough from further back in time, like in the 1980s or even earlier. I understand that you may not know of many of these older shows, but TVB has a long history and I think listing so many shows from 2000 and beyond is very short-sighted.

Please read this message and give me a response, or remove the War and Destiny link yourself. I will refrain from doing it myself until I know you understand my position.
