October 2011[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. --John (talk) 03:01, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi John, thank you for your advice. My post to this article is neither intended to be disruptive, nor is it commentary or personal analysis. I have not posted anything that is not well supported by fact, I have provided references. If you wish to cite contemporary references that contradict mine, please do so.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ropecharmer (talkcontribs)
Please don't keep adding this material which is not suitable for our encyclopedia. Instead, please take your proposal to the article's talk page and argue there for its inclusion. See WP:BRD and WP:EDITWAR. If you just keep adding it, you will be blocked. --John (talk) 03:54, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, John. Again, thank you for your advice. It seems our opinions differ as to whether the contribution is suitable for inclusion. I have read the BRD and EDITWAR articles and note that (a) the contribution does not breach any of the terms and (b) by repeatedly removing my contribution, yours does. The references I have posted strongly support my contribution - But perhaps you hold a different opinion of them? Or have others that contradict them? The technique of bogging down the discussion with irrelevent references to terms that I have not breached - and removal of the contribution - Are hardly the basis for a compelling argument. So again, if you have references that contradict mine, cite them. If you believe I have breached Wikipedia policies, cite them. Otherwise, please accept my advise that any further removal of the contribution will be taken as an act of vandalism and reported.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Ropecharmer (talkcontribs)
No really, this material is not suitable as it breaches WP:BLP and WP:NPOV. Finally, the term vandalism is only used here to describe deliberate attempts to compromise the encyclopedia. --John (talk) 15:18, 3 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
