Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 17:54, 2 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've been very busy, hence slow in responding to your request. It does seem like an interesting idea. I hope to have some outstanding commitments completed by early March, and will try to get back to you then.JQ (talk) 18:47, 18 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless[edit]

Please explain what purpose these heading-only stubs serve. In User:Rostaf/Sandbox/History and Systems of Psychology North Dakota State University why is the heading repeated three times? And why do you use underscore instead of space?

Final question: when was the last time you actually made a useful contribution to Wikipedia? Please reply. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 22:13, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is in response to your "Pointless" message on my talkpage. About your first point, that was a mistake by me and I corrected it now. I am sorry about that. If there is any way to remove those pages from my sandbox space, I will do that as soon as possible. About your second question, I think you could be a little nicer. But anyway... I don't edit Wikipedia actively. My research involves Wikipedia and through that I have actually been able to guide a very significant amount of high quality contribution to Wikipedia articles. I hope this answers your questions. Best, Rostaf (talk) 23:52, 21 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It was mistake that went on for rather a long time. You need take no action, I will work through and delete the stubs. My complaint was that you appeared to be using Wikipedia as some sort of notepad while not doing useful work. Obviously, if you stop scribbling, it does not matter how much or how little you contribute. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 00:17, 22 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

So why have you just created User:Rostaf/Sandbox/Intercultural Communication Samford University. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 01:08, 23 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Change in your user rights[edit]

Your Wikipedia account was previously granted a user right called "course instructor" by the Wiki Education Foundation. That right enabled you to create a course page through the EducationProgram MediaWiki extension. Starting in fall 2015, the Wiki Education Foundation has discontinued its use of this extension. Going forward, users should create course pages through the Wiki Education Foundation website. That application is more user-friendly, and any content is automatically mirrored to Wikipedia. To prevent confusion, we'll be removing your "course instructor" user right, as it is not needed with the new system. This is simply a notification of the technical change to your account. No action is needed from you at this time.

If you plan on teaching with Wikipedia for the fall 2015 term, please email me (helaine@wikiedu.org) for instructions how to create your next course page using our new system. --Helaine (Wiki Ed) (talk), sent by MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 02:34, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Social navigation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Thank you NeemNarduni2 for your message. As I had mentioned in the article talk page, my class on social computing (7 students) and I are going to develop this article so I created the structure for them to get started. But I understand that I should have done that as a sandbox page till it gets more developed. Sorry about that. I think it is ok to delete it for now. I will try to create the article when we have more of the content in place. would that be ok? Rostaf (talk) 18:14, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Better still, I've moved it to Draft:Social navigation. Thanks, NeemNarduni2 (talk) 18:23, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Great. Thank you so much, NeemNarduni2. Rostaf (talk) 18:48, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Classes using Wikipedia[edit]

Hi. I used to be a Wikipedia Campus Ambassador (before they ended the program). I am unaffiliated with WikiEd. If you anticipate needing any in-person editing guidance for your classes, please let me know. I'm at Posvar Hall throughout the week and I could assist your class in their efforts to be productive, should that become necessary. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:42, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds great! will definitely be in touch. Thanks for reaching out Rostaf (talk) 15:49, 6 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
