Being from a southern climate, snow really wasn't of a concern. Even in college, we brushed over it, with everything concentrated on sounding profiles. I learned more about snow in 2007 than I did in all the previous years combined, because there was a good set of COMET training modules on the topic. Granted, I just did it so I could work the tropical desk and provide backup points for NHC (which we don't do anymore), but it was good to learn anyway.
