April 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. A helpful link is WP:RELIABLE. Footnotes need to directly support the claims they're connected to; there are many bold statements in the lede and subsequent sections that must be directly supported by reliable sources, otherwise, true or not, they may be challenged. I've chosen one general template, rather than applying a dozen small ones, each added to a different sentence. This appears to document an accomplished life, and it would be better to have it airtight. JNW (talk) 00:02, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
One other concern: given the statement on your userpage, there is the possibility that you may be the subject, and are writing about yourself. If so, or even if you are a friend of the subject, please be aware of WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY and WP:COI, both of which explain why writing about oneself or a close acquaintance is strongly discouraged. Thanks, JNW (talk) 00:10, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

University of Central Florida

As a current or past contributor to a related article, I thought I'd let you know about WikiProject University of Central Florida, a collaborative effort to improve Wikipedia's coverage of the University of Central Florida. If you would like to participate, you can visit the project page, where you can join the project and see a list of open tasks and related articles. Thank you and Go Knights!

Please provide a reliable reference that shows that Dr. Norman is indeed an alumnus of the University of Central Florida. Being a Featured List, the List of University of Central Florida alumni requires that all entries carry specific and reliable references of association with the university and notability. If these requirements cannot be certified in a timely manner the entry will be removed. --Scpmarlins (talk) 04:04, 25 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

AfD nomination of James Norman, MD[edit]

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is James Norman, MD. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James Norman, MD. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:08, 19 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi. When you recently edited Spencer Pumpelly, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Miller Park (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

James Norman[edit]

Hi, Rvflyboy. I've nominated James Norman, an article to which you have contributed significantly, for deletion because it does not meet the Wikipedia notability guidelines. --Rhombus (talk) 20:08, 25 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
