Oceanography?

Chemical Oceanography? Well, I studied Physical Oceanography here, but that was a very loong time ago! Regards, Alvesgaspar (talk) 20:07, 4 February 2013 (UTC)

Okay?—Ryulong (琉竜) 02:33, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

This was a little funny...

You seem to have gotten UPSET over the revert to your own version [[1]]...Hell In A Bucket (talk) 06:12, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

You reverted too far, despite the fact I had done an edit prior to your last revert to fix the number which had been removed in that revert as well.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:15, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
OIC I'm sorry I was just trying to get back to your good version. My bad, I was looking and I just couldn't figure out why you were upset lol. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 06:35, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
Also I may have had caps on from another edit summary. Say, could you help me out by resizing an image I just uploaded? I don't have any graphic editing software on this computer.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:40, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
Sadly my friend I have no idea how to resize things, commons is a place where I am woefully inept. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 07:23, 5 February 2013 (UTC)
You don't have photoshop or anything?—Ryulong (琉竜) 10:33, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

No I'm sorry I don't. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 12:52, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

  • Ryulong, I came to your talk page to say that your quiet, sensible, long-term contribution to Japan-related projects has been really awesome. I noticed your long and patient conversation about language templates with another editor in an archive. You tried so hard ;-) (Maybe that's the only time you've ever said an angry word on Wikipedia—that's a pretty awesome record). I have just posted on his talk page, and he seems to think that all the POV pushers who are embedding foreign languages in the body and titles of articles are using language templates as they are supposed to ;-)
  • I have never given barnstars to anybody, but if you are a collector then I think you've earned one.
  • If you occasionally need help with the resizing of images (mentioned in the conversation above) just email me. Photoshop Elements (which I have) is really good, and it's not so expensive (if you eventually decide to buy it). I can create a quick-start mini-tutorial if you need one. Best wishes. LittleBen (talk) 15:07, 22 February 2013 (UTC)
Thank you (it looks like Andy still doesn't get it though). And I was requesting the above because I don't have any image editing software on the computer at work (it's got 55 free gigs of space but 53 are on a partition so I can't install anything). But if I'm ever at work and I need help resizing something I'll be sure to bug you.—Ryulong (琉竜) 15:18, 22 February 2013 (UTC)

United Alliance of Evil-related

In a follow-up post to the discussion you left on my talk page, I have come up with the best opinion that I can think of for the Power Rangers villains. In the final parts of the Zordon era, the villains led by Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, the Machine Empire, and the space pirates led by Divatox were united under Dark Specter as the United Alliance of Evil. I think there used to be a post about this on Wikipedia. Somehow we might be able to have the villains membership there. I can't say about the monsters there since they used to be covered under the "Countdown to Destruction" page that Wikipedia had. That will be for you to decide. Rtkat3 (talk) 5:39, February 8 2012 (UTC)

What part about "No more separate pages for villains" didn't you understand?—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:41, 8 February 2013 (UTC)
It was just an opinion for the Zordon-era villains. Perhaps for the new template that you set up, you can have a # for the villain section of the Power Rangers character pages that you set up with it linking to the villains section of the different character pages. Rtkat3 (talk) 5:44, February 8 2013 (UTC)
Something will be done with the MMPR through Space characters but it will not be the creation of a central villain list. Just please make List of Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue characters through List of Power Rangers Samurai characters.—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:52, 8 February 2013 (UTC)

About the Pokemon Movie Title

Sorry, I must say "Mezameru" is my error. But about the title this is amiss usage in here. Because it is not a simple as the title to describe Genesect. If must use the punctuation mark should be comma is more appropriate.

First, I would like to ask you to register for an account. Every time that you edit you use a new IP so it is difficult to track things. Second, I understand that Mezameru is an error. Third, the title is "Shinsoku no Genosekuto Myūtsū Kakusei". There is no "and" in the title in Japanese, and this is the only way we can show the other subtitles. Obviously, this will no longer be an issue in December when the dub airs. Or, we can start a discussion on the talk page to decide a better way of translating the title.—Ryulong (琉竜) 09:55, 15 February 2013 (UTC)

Sandbox

I'll put up the stuff for the Shiroi Mahoutsukai on my Sandbx page if we eventually decide to make the article, especially since he is getting more toy releases including the Driver and his own Sofubi figure. I'm just telling you so you can try to fix up any mistakes I made (if you're interested). ~Switch On 2012~ ( ★ AlienX2009 ★ ) 18:46, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

I'm back, better

I'm back. I have to apologise because i was off to enrichment courses as a result from my extensive delay. But still my grammar do improved a little. In fact I do really wanted to help you. I will promise i will not edit any of your pages and vandalise them, including adding useless trivia, adding irrevelent points and adding wrong hyperlinks in any places. Ryulong, I promise i will do better to help wikipedia and i will not do that mistake again. You have my word, Ok? (Singaporeandy (talk) 06:50, 20 February 2013 (UTC))

Your grammar is slightly better but it is still not proper English. I know that you want to help, but when you do try to help it does not help. I believe you will work better at the Simple English Wikipedia or perhaps Bahasa Melayu Wikipedia, Chinese Wikipedia, or Tamil Wikipedia. Whichever language you learned as a child before English. I am sure that the other Wikipedias could use the help of someone with your enthusiasm.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:58, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

List of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure characters

Just to let you know, I definitely do support getting each piece of content only in one place. I think it is probably best to keep the content in the separate articles. I just think the list should be kept around and link to each of those separate articles. Calathan (talk) 06:36, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Working on it. I might split off the content from the individual articles onto their own character lists.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:45, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
Also, about posting in the AFD after you closed it, I type slowly and had started writing my post before you closed it. For some reason it didn't give me an edit conflict message and just accepted my post. If I had seen that the AFD was closed, I wouldn't have posted anything else there. Calathan (talk) 06:52, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
Article reformatted, although I'm not 100% happy with the JoJolion section.—Ryulong (琉竜) 07:29, 21 February 2013 (UTC)

Jetix was a programming block not a network

I am not sure if you are from another country, if you are extremely reckless with deletions, or if you are just ignorant about Power Rangers (you claim to be a Cain so I know research was not a top priority). However in the United States there was never a Jetex Network. Dino Thunder aired first on ABC Family and the Kalish shows originally aired on Toon Disney. Please do not remove accurate information from pages. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and will not report you if you restore the information. Thank You from an anonymous user with a constantly changing address.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.163.123.70 (talkcontribs)

Any edits to the Power Rangers pages you are complaining about were done because someone had gone in and added a shitload of copyright violations to the pages. If you look at the page history, you will see that several edits had to be deleted, and your corrections of the use of "Jetix" was simply in the way. And also, you never comment on the editor so your accusation that because I am a "Cain" (try spelling correctly) that I don't do research is beyond what is acceptable.—Ryulong (琉竜) 14:23, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
Also, if your IP constantly changes it would be better to register for an account.—Ryulong (琉竜) 14:27, 23 February 2013 (UTC)
