AIV report

Would you like to correct this report? There is no such user as "&title", and I have no idea what username you meant to give. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:54, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

Oi. Stupid twinkle.—Ryulong (琉竜) 14:14, 3 November 2013 (UTC)

A giant step back

I have proposed that an RfC take place in which both combatants in the anime/manga article structure debacle state their positions and then let the community work it out from there.

Considering that, if this long-festering dispute does not abate, this will get to ArbCom, and ArbCom almost certainly will put a year long or indefinite topic ban on both of you (or a siteban, although that's less likely), I would strongly encourage you to run with this idea.

Please indicate at that thread whether or not you would be willing to participate in such a discussion. Please indicate only your answer to that question, as I don't want the proposal to become yet another venue for the interpersonal conflict to play out.

Yours, Sven Manguard Wha? 16:30, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

I need to go to sleep. I will look at this in more detail when I'm on break tomorrow.—Ryulong (琉竜) 16:40, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

Disruptive RFPP comments

Please stop asking for second opinions on declined protection requests. They are usually declined for a reason. --Bigpoliticsfan (talk) 22:12, 4 November 2013 (UTC)

That's not what the declining admin told me.—Ryulong (琉竜) 02:04, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

The ANI/RFC thing

Look. Take the Bleach anime and merge it. Do what you wish with the GITS matter. Dragon Ball should remain separate as I'm not the chief opposition there. The community doesn't care for either of us. I'm willing to do take a fair amount of punishment and eat a lot of crow to make sure you can keep the integrity of those articles up. If one of us has to be topic banned, at least you can prevent material from degrading in the mean time. I think its unnecessary for this "judgement" thing, but I'd post your response to back it up. For whatever its worth, we are both listening to each other. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:39, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm aware the Dragon Ball stuff is going as it is. The thing is that I respect your attempts to expand the articles and build them up to good or featured status and I'm no where near as knowledgable in the topics as you. I just think that they should be presented differently. Neither of us should be banned but we definitely need to come up with some sort of solution as to how to present the pages. I'm still in my lab right now so I cannot really do much extensive editing.—Ryulong (琉竜) 05:04, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
Understandable. Let's let this RFC run its course. Either way, I'm not going to get into this again. I rather abandon A&M than risk another issue. Your more valuable than I because you maintain the integrity against hoaxers while I merely grow content in big spurts. While I'm not going to like the giant form of an all-in-one Bleach page, you can see it for yourself. I'll let you decide, but even so. The RFC will end and we need a plan to move forward, together. You know I don't want Trigun, Cowboy Bebop and almost all other 26 episode or less series to have separate pages. Right? Its the 100+ episodes and very different adaptations which spur my split decisions. Anyway. Right now its a lose/lose situation, and its not about win or loss - never was. The community won't entertain us doing this any longer - its got to end with this RFC. Okay? Otherwise we will likely both be eating topic bans, but I'd rather walk away to keep you here to maintain things. You getting topic banned is worse than me getting topic banned. Agreed? ChrisGualtieri (talk) 05:32, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
Yeah. I don't want to get fucked over and have to deal with all the crap on the tokusatsu pages without me to be able to fix them.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:15, 5 November 2013 (UTC)

RfC has started

The RfC is now public, and can be found at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Anime and manga/franchise coverage RfC. Sven Manguard Wha? 20:51, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

I just redacted part of your statement [1]. It's okay to say you don't know what Chris thinks but please just stop there; starting discussion of what he did or didn't do just leads back down the path to conflict. I assume he's watching the page and will clarify his stance if he considers it important to the resolution of the RFC. NE Ent 02:18, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
Uh, most of that was in regards to this messages to me that you can see above. I don't see why you had to do anything.—Ryulong (琉竜) 08:19, 9 November 2013 (UTC)

New section on the Anime and Manga RfC

Hello there. Since the Anime and Manga RfC seems to have developed a consensus for the "It depends on notability and uniqueness of each adaptation", I have started a thread to see if we can offer metrics or further guidance for such case by case... erm... cases. I have no idea if such a thing is even possible to draft up, but since having it might help, I figured I'd try. The thread is HERE, and as a previous participant in the RfC I wanted to let you know about it using this overly long, rambling message.

Since the RfC has been going very well, and at this point I've seen no indications that it's going to get all flamey, I don't see any reason why you shouldn't offer suggestions in this section, if you have any.

Cheers, Sven Manguard Wha? 17:07, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

S.A.C. 2nd GIG

Someone had restored the article. I'm hesitant to remove it. But if consensus agreed on merge than it can be done. Since chris had also decided to allow the merge of the manga to be merged back, and you're busy, I can merge it back to save time.Lucia Black (talk) 20:01, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

All that needed to be done is a revert for 2nd gig. And go ahead with the manga merge thing.—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:02, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Help: DOA5U Arcade characters official spelling name always being kept undo by Niemti

Dude i need a help that Niemti keeps undoing the official spelling name of DOA5U arcade character into a temporary unofficial spell name. That's not even right & it's already confirmed her spelling name is "Marie Rose", not "Mary Rose".

The prove is right here: http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/doa5/ultimate/arcade/home.html#gallery

ScottKazama 12:09, 16 November 2013 (UTC)

Why didn't you give him that link?—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:34, 15 November 2013 (UTC)
:( Already did bro, twice or three times, so many. I'm starting to have a bad feeling if he didn't listened at all & think it's a so called falsify on the official website I tried to gave him. Some kinda misunderstanding for instance ScottKazama 14:09, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
No, you pasted the link in an edit summary instead of doing what I did and directly linking it to him on his user talk page. And he's saying you're "falsifying sources" because you were changing the "Mary Rose" in a citation's title. I've fixed it all. Also, log into your account.—Ryulong (琉竜) 19:35, 15 November 2013 (UTC)

Someone made an Amazing Race 24 page

Hey I found this just now, but as I don't have an account on here I can't mark it for deletion or anything. The page doesn't seem necessary at present. What are your thoughts? 86.15.195.205 (talk) 00:09, 18 November 2013 (UTC) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Amazing_Race_24

It should be deleted asap.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:36, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Photos

Hello....what is your problem about photos at Giannitsa .....philip the macedon born and died at pella, the clock tower? i have a better photo taken all by me.....and you deleted the photo of central park of Giannitsa.....its all photos from the town....as all the other pages of towns has.....Help me understand you!— Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikostrd (talkcontribs)

Your photos do not add anything of use to the article. You did not need to get rid of the old photo of the clocktower and replace it with your own. One of the photos captions was just "Philip the Macedon" without saying anything about it. Your contributions, while in good faith, are not helpful to this project. I get it. You're from Giannitsa and you're proud to be Macedonian. It's just not how things are done at the English Wikipedia.—Ryulong (琉竜) 15:02, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Can i add them as a gallery?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Nikostrd (talkcontribs)

No.—Ryulong (琉竜) 20:41, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Forced Entertainment

Hi. Sorry to bother you again. I believe I have addressed the notability issues with Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Forced_Entertainment that previously caused you to reject the prospective article. Would you be so kind as to give it your consideration once more please. Thank you. -Lopifalko (talk) 21:18, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

No. Still a massive puff piece.—Ryulong (琉竜) 21:59, 19 November 2013 (UTC)

Exactly!

We just edit-conflicted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/White Girl Bleed a Lot with more or less the same point. I broke down the sources one-by-one, where you went into the requirements more deeply. I guess the old saying, "Great minds think alike," is true. :) —C.Fred (talk) 18:04, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

This guy seems to be a problem at another AFD I have started on what is apparently a related topic, as well.—Ryulong (琉竜) 18:05, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Really?

Can someone at least update List of Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger episodes and List of Kamen Rider Gaim episodes for me then?—Ryulong (琉竜) 22:59, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Need to remember this for tomorrow. http://garo-project.jp/ZERO/Ryulong (琉竜) 00:18, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

This needs to be reverted because it's a game guide, this needs to be reverted because the episodes haven't had an English language broadcast yet.—Ryulong (琉竜) 01:50, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

Broken formatting.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:57, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

Blocked

I have blocked you for 24 hours for edit warring on the Knockout article. I have provided further comments on the 3RR noticeboard report. Regarding your comment on the noticeboard, please also consider that there is not a 3 revert allowance (which was exceeded in this case, anyway) but that any edit warring can get you blocked. TigerShark (talk) 23:04, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

This doesn't answer my question about what constitutes a self-revert but fine. My time on this site is numbered anyway if ChrisGualtieri wants to start an ArbCom case because Sven Manguard is shutting the RFC down because he let it sit for too long. I guess this is a wake up call to say I'm no longer wanted here and I could frankly live without it if it weren't for the fact that I won't allow fansub spellings from dominating this website.—Ryulong (琉竜) 23:09, 23 November 2013 (UTC)

Rollback

As you have a long history of abusing that tool and with your most recent block, I removed the rollback privilege from your account as you clearly don't deserve it. The tool is not your right to be revert warring with it. Secret account 14:33, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

You know, aside from my outburst of consternation above, I was wondering when someone would do this.—Ryulong (琉竜) 14:41, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

AN

Will you point out that we already came to an agreement to our dispute. It looks like a witch hunt is forming at AN. And send me a message to my talk page about what you want to do with Tokusatsu just so I can make a list and fix it by the end of this week. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 01:10, 26 November 2013 (UTC)

This place isn't worth the stress anymore.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:29, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
So you're gonna up and quit on me? I thought we just resolved this - sorta leaves a sour feeling to just walk away from it now, doesn't it? I am getting the full functionality of the Tokusatsu project up. You've no doubt been flooded on your watchlist because of the talk page tagging and the new categories - I'm not good at figuring out what is really important so feel free to fix it up. Once this is done I can drop the Wikiproject watchlist and use it to help maintain an easier watch in the area without using the user watchlists. Even so, we could totally accept this "suspended" topic ban thing - or plain I-Ban - and be fine. It's going to take a few months to fix Tokusatsu anyways. This "pre-emptive" Arbcom thing is just drama we didn't make and its not something that's going to screw either of us up unless we let it. Or are you afraid someone is going to use it as an excuse to get rid of you/us or whatever? If so, just oppose the thing and know that our next fight will probably be bye-bye or ArbCom and forget the formalities of " a year" or something. Walk away and you'll look at Tokusatsu a year from now and see its errors that I wouldn't know about or have a reason to fix. A&M is not going to degrade like your Wikiproject. Stick it out at least another week or two; we can work through this. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:46, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
I want to withdraw Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Aisenshi. The entire band is made of notable individuals. I posted on the page. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 04:59, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
I just can't deal with the meta shit anymore. I'm tired of being the whipping boy of 4chan because of the fucking L and R switching. I'm tired of being the one every single fucking Power Rangers website hates because of this same bullshit. I can't take this shit anymore. It's so upsetting. I haven't had the time to enjoy any of the shit I've been working on articles for in so long. I had someone go to my blog and call me a faggot because of this nonsense. There is someone following me on twitter who somehow knows my surname despite never having made the connection between with my online identity (although this may be a wikipedia review/encyclopedia dramatica thing). It's not worth it anymore.
But anyway my plans for the tokusatsu pages is simple: no more individual character pages or character pages divided between protagonists and antagonists. Just lists of characters. Because even the sources on all of the individual articles on Kamen Riders that are not direclty sourced to the official website are just useless and unnecessary minutae about their new weaponry or some other bullshit like that.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:02, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
Sounds like a plan. Sven's mad over this dispute, but if we can work together the heat should die down. What area should I work on first, or should I finish doing the taggings first? ChrisGualtieri (talk) 02:54, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
There's no where that's really in the worst shape at the moment. I think the Kamen Rider Gaim and Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger pages are best to start with because they're the most recent and will set the standard for everything going back. The only problem is including the names of the mecha at a minimum, as they're on screen roles most of the time. I've at least had people spending energy on updating the episode list to avoid having too much character biographies going on anymore.—Ryulong (琉竜) 02:58, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
  • Okay. Let's start there. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 03:08, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
  • I looked at it... and I don't know where to begin! What would be your ideal set up in structure and content? Follow MOSTV and MOSFILM for structure and layout? ChrisGualtieri (talk) 03:41, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
I dunno, just something that combines the separate protagonist and antagonist pages into a single list article, but keeps info like form names and weapon names and robot names.—Ryulong (琉竜) 05:59, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
  • I'll tinker with it a bit today, I'd rather not lose sourced content or relevant portions unless necessary, but detailed arsenal talk is okay to trim, right? ChrisGualtieri (talk) 12:10, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
  • I've finished running the tagging and sorting of Tokusatsu and updated the page accordingly. The project now has 983 articles listed after I tagged some 810 myself including the files and categories. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 03:28, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
I can tell from my watchlist how thorough you've been.—Ryulong (琉竜) 03:35, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
