Peer Review of Tom Feelings Article[edit]
Hi!
You did a lot of research here! I believe you wrote an easy to understand lead, created a clear structure, provided balanced and neutral coverage of Feelings, and used reliable sources. If I am not mistaken, the strikethroughs were where you could not find any sources to back up the claims or were grammar issues. What was also noticeable was how some statements have multiple sources attributed to them, thus increasing their validity and reliability.
The only thing that distracted me from the article was the bold and strikethrough words, but I believe those are just part of the draft in order for us to see where you added (bold) and where you substracted (strikethrough) content. I also noticed that Feelings's art and writing took center-stage in the article while his teaching and activism were hinted at. Is there a way of balancing that out? Possibly providing sections to each to highlight his accomplishments in those areas. If overlap occurs, maybe write about that (which proper citations of course). The first source cited, for example, gives a bit more information about his teaching career: "1964-66; illustration instructor, art consultant, Tema, Ghana, 1964-66; Ministry of Education, teacher and consultant, Guyana, 1971-74; the University of South Carolina, artist in residence, 1990-95." Unpacking this would lead to a more fleshed out history of Feelings.
This citation, "Authors Emeritus: Tom Feelings and Virginia Hamilton". Bookology Magazine. 2015-09-01. Retrieved 2019-11-11, was used twice in the Reference section, as number 4 and number 10. All links work and appear to be up-to-date. I would double-check the nondigital citations for repetition and accuracy, though.
As a way of suggesting further improvements, consider providing an infobox with an image of Feelings that would give a reader the chance to skim basic information about him. Not a necessary addition, but it might be nice to have.

Thanks so much for the feedback, Rose! (I hope I'm doing this reply correctly...) I have perused and perused the wikicommons image galleries for images of Tom Feelings to add to this article and alas can't find any approved for use. I may try inserting one of the images I have seen elsewhere and see if anyone challenges it, but the copyright stringency might be why one hasn't already been added. (Also having a name like Feelings makes searching for the person super hard -- lots of emotions!) Your suggestion of making a new section to address his activism is a great idea. I wasn't sure how to address that part of him but I agree it's important to cover here. Thanks too for catching the doubled citation! I'll fix that. And yes, I'll be fixing all the strikethroughs but wanted even for my own editing purposes to see what changes I was making when it comes to making them live on the real Wikipedia.
