SuggestBot picks the articles you might be interested in based on the articles you've edited and using a number of different techniques: following links from them to other articles, matching articles based on their content, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedia users. It tries to recommend only articles that others have marked as needing work, such as stub articles that need to be made longer, clean-up articles that need writing help, and so on. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.

If you choose to participate we encourage you to leave feedback on these suggestions, which you can most easily do here by editing your user talk page. We'll stop by later to read them.

The article Retro Force has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 18:15, 7 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding proposed deletion of Retro Force[edit]

Hi,

I saw your post to SuggestBot's user talk page about the proposed deletion, and had a look at the article. It's marked as in need of wikifying, which means there aren't any links to other Wikipedia articles in it (as I understand the Wikify article). To help with that, go through the article and look for keywords that can be relevant links to other Wikipedia articles, e.g. in the introduction it's called a "Shoot'em up game", which can probably be linked to Shooter game#Shoot 'em up. See also WP:OVERLINK for more information about what to link, and if you don't know how links in Wikipedia works have a look at Wikipedia:Editing_FAQ#How do I make links?.

Another important characteristic of Wikipedia articles is that they should state why the subject is notable. I'm not sure where they draw the line about games, but the introduction should mention something about why the game is worthy of an article (for instance if it's made by a particularly famous company, or sold really, really well, or got rave reviews; you might want to ask Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games about it).

I also found the layout of the article a little confusing. After the introduction I would describe the story first, then the characters, and move the gameplay and details about game artefacts to the end, to signify that it's the story and the characters that are the most important parts of the game.

Lastly, remember that you can write a question here on your user talk page and add the {{helpme}} template to let other people know that you have a problem you need help with, and you somebody should stop by. Best of luck with your article! Nettrom (talk) 20:11, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

File copyright problem with File:Preview of Retro Force.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Preview of Retro Force.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Eeekster (talk) 17:04, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:Preview of Retro Force.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. September 2010[edit]

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with File:Preview of Retro Force.jpg. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion, and make your case on the page's talk page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 17:33, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you must sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:04, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
