Broken?[edit]

Looks like this tool has stopped working sometime yesterday. When I click on either the "Accept" or "Decline" links, I do not get a popup. I've tried on more than one PC. I use Google Chrome on both. UtherSRG (talk) 12:03, 18 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Customization[edit]

@SD0001: Is there a way to customize the tool to provide my own edit summary at the RfU page. Also it mandatorily makes a dummy edit, which I would like to turn off. I had pinged you on the same at User talk:SoWhy/Archive 33#Mad Love (JoJo song) last year. By the way, I don't use the tool because of these two reasons. Jay 💬 07:12, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The dummy edit is needed so as to reset the six-month timer. Either the tool does it, or you'd need to do it manually. Else, the restored draft would get re-deleted, possibly before the requester has gotten the notice that it has been restored. (But if you are fine with doing the dummy edit manually, then a check-box to turn off the auto would work.) However, I agree on a the need for a custom summary. Also, we need the draftify summary added to the drop down options in a similar mannr the userify option was added. - UtherSRG (talk) 11:54, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Right, I prefer the manual edit as my 0.1% contribution in improving every draft that I restore. Which is why I don't want the redundant dummy edit, which gets credited against the restorer's account. Jay 💬 17:07, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Special:Undelete - "Last deleted version" H1 shows up in table of contents[edit]

Bug report. See title.

Steps to reproduce.

  1. Create a page with enough headings to trigger a table of contents
  2. Delete it
  3. Install RFUD-helper
  4. View the deleted page

What happens?

  1. Table of contents contains "Last deleted version" H1

What should have happened?

  1. Table of contents should not contain "Last deleted version"

Special:Undelete - In preview, Reply, [reply] and Subscribe buttons are large and in wrong places[edit]

Bug report. See title.

Steps to reproduce.

  1. vector 2010
  2. make sure DiscussionTools is turned on, preferrably on a wiki with [subscribe] links enabled
  3. Create a page with a bunch of headings
  4. Delete it
  5. Install RFUD-helper
  6. View the deleted page

What happens?

  1. Reply, [reply], and Subscribe buttons are improperly styled (too large, one has a bell icon that is normally hidden)
  2. Reply, [reply], and Subscribe buttons are in wrong locations (above heading instead of floating on the right of the heading)

Bug[edit]

@SD0001: The tool is putting "[subscribe]" in the edit summary (again?). Looks like something happened in the 10 hour window between my usages yesterday. - UtherSRG (talk) 19:48, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@UtherSRG  Fixed. Looks like it may have been due to some change in DiscussionTools. – SD0001 (talk) 03:53, 2 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
