Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Re:Syesha Mercado's page[edit]

Criterion 9 says "Has won or placed in a major music competition". Syesha has not won or placed in the competition. She is a competitor, but "placing" refers to being a finalist — in the case of American Idol, that is generally taken to mean Top 3. Besides, her page was not deleted, it was just redirected to the American Idol Season 7 article, as most of the other competitors' articles are. ... discospinster _talk 03:54, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Idol semi-finalists do NOT get pages. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Idol series and many many deletion debates from the past. If you keep recreating the page, it will be reverted.
