Advice re your article[edit]

Talk pages of deleted articles are not normally kept. This is a better place to give you advice and for you to ask any questions. The immediate cause of deletion of your page was copyright; that could be fixed, but there are more serious problems.

There are many sites like Facebook and Myspace which will be happy for you to promote your upcoming film, but Wikipedia is different - it is not a noticeboard for announcements, it is a project to build an encyclopedia. We maybe do not do enough to make that clear in advance. Because of the need for a neutral point of view, people are strongly discouraged from writing about themselves or their own projects, companies, films, bands etc. They are considered to have a WP:Conflict of interest, see also WP:Best practices for editors with conflicts of interest.

Also, as an encyclopedia, Wikipedia is selective about subjects: the criterion is called Notability, a requirement to have a Wikipedia article, which is not a matter of opinion but has to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and anything based on press releases. The test is, have people not connected with the subject thought it significant enough to write substantial comment about?

New projects are often unable to meet that requirement, but an encyclopedia is not for announcing new things, only for describing things that are already established.

It is unlikely that a film will be able to show notability until it has been released and gathered independent reviews. There is more detail at WP:Notability (films): see particularly WP:NFF:

"Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. ... Additionally, films that have already begun shooting, but have not yet been publicly released (theatres or video), should generally not have their own articles unless the production itself is notable per the notability guidelines."
