Disambiguation link notification for November 10[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mummy, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Evisceration and Turkish (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

A cup of coffee for you![edit]

I'm really excited to see you working to improve Mummy--here's some coffee to keep you going. If you ever get this promoted to GA or FA, be sure to ping me so I can give you the Half Million or Million Award if nobody beats me to it. Thanks for all you're doing! -- Khazar2 (talk) 20:59, 11 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Mmm, coffee. I appreciate it, thanks! I will definitely let you know if I get the article promoted. My main goal when I started the improvements was to get the article reinstated to GA status. -- Saint Soren (talk) 01:27, 12 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I just finished up the major elements of the overhaul for Mummy and submitted it to be reviewed for GA status! Here's hoping I did well enough! -- Saint Soren (talk) 11:02, 15 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for the barnstar. I am glad to see someone who is interested in and willing to clean up and improve articles. Wikipedia has many good articles but there are a surprising number of articles that are incomplete or need cleanup. Keep up the good work. Donner60 (talk) 15:01, 13 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:DooroftheDeadatStPeters.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:DooroftheDeadatStPeters.jpg, which you've attributed to http://www.flickr.com/photos/rich_gibson/98549581/ (licence at source is CC BY-NC-SA). I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. January (talk) 18:34, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Great work on mummies!![edit]

Hi, Saint Soren! I am impressed of your overhaul on Mummy. At Disembowelment, I made a note from James Cook, who mentioned that some Pacific Islanders used mummification, and then by the technique of transanal evisceration. Quote and link are found under Embalming section on Disembowelment, if you have interest.Arildnordby (talk) 16:32, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Mummy-related[edit]

Hi, I have noticed that you are supporting a possible page creation for Mummy (undead) to be split from Mummy. Besides having to put a template for the Mummy franchise on the main page, I have left a message on the talk page about having the possible split reserved for the Mummies of different media appearances (though Imhotep and Kharis already have their pages) like the Mummies that appeared in Mad Monster Party?, Mad Mad Mad Monsters, Gravedale High, Warcraft, AdventureQuest (and it's related games), The Cabin in the Woods (it was seen in some behind the scene photos), and Hotel Transylvania to name a few. Someone had already created a page for Skeletons which is said to be in need of references in external links. What do you think of this idead? --Rtkat3 (talk) 22:06, 13 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
