If you're interested in monor cleanup, you could look through the articles at Category:Wikipedia cleanup and improve those. That should give you a lot of articles with problems that you could fix. If you get more interested in writing than maintenance, you could try expanding stubs. A list of all the stub categoies can be found at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Stub types, and you could find a category that you're interested in, and work on improving and lengthening those articles.
