Your edits to lists of Iranian military aircraft[edit]

Regarding your edits to lists of Iranian military aircraft. You seem to have misused the Notes boxes in the Helicopters section of the List of aircraft of the Iranian Air Force article. You did the same thing with the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy Aviation section of the Islamic Republic of Iran Navy article. They are just spaces to write something brief, not to write large amounts of text that go into detail. Information about those aircraft that is in-depth, can be found at their relevant articles. There is no need to duplicate entire sections from other articles, in lists that are only meant to be brief.

The numbers that you included are also questionable and without links to sources. The number of Bell 214Cs here directly contradicts the number in the Bell 214 article that you copied into the Notes box, there! Not only that example, but the number of RH-53D Sea Stallions here directly contradicts the number in the Sikorsky CH-53 Sea Stallion article that you copied into the Notes box, there!

I would appreciate it if you consider this and correct those mistakes. Please remember the points that I have made here, so that you don't continue making such mistakes in your future edits. Dreddmoto (talk) 18:32, 30 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your edit here. That section looks better now. Dreddmoto (talk) 15:03, 4 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Regarding your edits here. You added AB-205As and AB-206As to the Variants box for the Bell UH-1N Twin Huey helicopter type. This is incorrect because, the UH-1N is a military variant of the Bell 212 type. The AB-205A is a variant of the Bell 205, here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_204/205 . The AB-206A is a variant of the Bell 206, here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_206 In other words, they are not variants of the Bell UH-1N Twin Huey.

If you want to include them in the list of Iranian naval aircraft, you should add new boxes for them in the Aircraft column of that list and then, delete them from the Variants box. Thanks for your attention. --Dreddmoto (talk) 15:26, 15 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
