Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Please stop edit warring on Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Two different editors have reverted your change; per normal editing practices (see, for example, WP:BRD), you now need to go to the article's talk page and discuss your suggested change before re-adding it. In the first edit, I just linked Canadian and replaced Pakistani to Non resident Pakistani. In the second edit, linked CANADIAN and linked Pakistani to Overseas Pakistani. This does not come under the heading of EDIT WARRING as per 3R rule. This is the free encyclopaedia and what wrong I did with the said article. Isn't he the non-resident Pakistani or Oversea Pakistani? --SMSLet's talk 11:37, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
I have no opinion about how he should be described; I'm merely responding to the edit warring issue. And while you are correct that this is the "free encyclopedia", editing is done via consensus. When editors disagree with what you've done--especially when more than one editor reverts you--you then should go to the talk page and discuss the matter. Sure, there are exceptions, but only when the other person is clearly violating policy. This seems to be a matter of editorial discretion, and thus seems to be something you need to get consensus to change. So, if someone reverts you again, please do not reinstate your version, and instead, raise the matter on the talk page. Qwyrxian (talk) 13:04, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

Information icon Hello, I'm Wtwilson3. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Shaista Lodhi, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —    Bill W.    (Talk)  (Contrib)  — 12:45, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
