Hi chocmilk03,
Thank you for your welcome and yes we were expecting to be aware the article is not quite adequate for publish as yet especially given the fact whilst Kepz is already high profile, more citations and references would be ideal to strengthen the article.
I am hopeful his music management agency will be onboard in the same way other labels and agency’s come to submit articles.
I take note of similar articles which contain a mix of referenced and un-referenced facts, and we used Niko Walters article as a case study. I believe Kepz (Kepa Tumai) is notable as with many kiwi artists and in many cases, in respect to public notability, more so than artists signed to major labels with Wikipedia articles in all due respect.
If I am given some time to cite more notable references and furthermore rewrite and reformat the article in due course, I believe the article holds appropriate relevance for inclusion in the Wikipedia
community.
For now I will take this back into draft, if there is at all any focus points or policies of importance for us to keep in mind as we next go to submit please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Blessings,
Samirnz. 118.148.83.50 (talk) 21:52, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Kia ora Samirnz, thanks for your response. I think taking the page back to draft is a good idea (let me know if you need any assistance with this?), and I'm happy to help you work on it to the extent I can (more reliable secondary sources will be the key thing). Those links above should provide some good guidance on this. Cheers, Chocmilk03 (talk) 22:16, 30 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Chocmilk03, thanks for your response and your guidance.
Yeah if you could assist me on moving this back to draft and yes any help on this article would be much appreciated, I'm certainly happy to collate more reliable secondary sources and I'm sure this something that shouldn't take long. Thanks. Samirnz (talk) 05:04, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Awesome, done. I've put in a request to withdraw my deletion nomination, once that's sorted the tags can be removed from the top of the article so it'll look a bit tidier. I'll put this on my list to take a look at, and in the meantime let me know if you have any specific questions, happy to help any time. :) Chocmilk03 (talk) 05:48, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
As long as there is an active AFD going on, this article should not be moved. It would help if you went to the deletion discussion and put in a request for the article to be Draftified. It will help the closer decide what to do and THEY can move the article. Liz Read! Talk! 06:12, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Liz sorry Liz, just seen this. Thanks for your help and please ignore the question I just asked on my talk page. Makes sense! Chocmilk03 (talk) 06:17, 31 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Samirnz, sorry for my confusion about the deletion/drafting process (Wikipedia can be a steep learning curve at times and clearly I'm still learning!). If you agree that the page should be moved to draftspace, it would be helpful if you could add a comment confirming this at the article's deletion discussion page Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kepz just below mine. You are also welcome to amend and improve the article while we wait for that process to resolve. Cheers, Chocmilk03 (talk) 21:51, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
