I see you mean my 'change of tense' edit. That was intended to convey that John Woods is no longer playing rugby league currently, not his death. If you feel this is not clear, please correct it. Samourc (talk) 01:28, 1 June 2013 (UTC)

Ah yes, I see what you mean, I tend to say "is" if they're alive, and "was" if they're dead, and add, e.g. "of the 1930s" to indicate the era in which they were active. Best Regards. DynamoDegsy (talk) 17:48, 2 June 2013 (UTC)
