Good to see you![edit]

But beware of our rather rigid attitude about autobiography. (Fully justified by experience though; talk about unreliable narrators!) --Orange Mike | Talk 13:10, 21 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Technically, Chip, you're supposed to request edits to the article about you on the talk page, for somebody else to do, rather than doing it yourself.
Hope you and yours are doing well. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:04, 6 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Requested edit[edit]

Could someone change "Upon its publication, Delany returned to the United States at the behest of Leslie Fiedler to teach at the University at Buffalo as Butler Professor of English in the spring of 1975" to "After a lengthy exchange of letters with Leslie Fiedler, Delany returned to the United States at Fiedler's behest to teach at the University at Buffalo as Visiting Butler Professor of English for the spring 1975 semester"

Could someone change "Though he wrote two more major science fiction novels (Triton and Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand)" to "Though he published two more major science fiction novels (Triton and Stars in My Pocket Like Grains of Sand)". As its place-date subscription says, Triton was written wholly in London.

Hi Chip, nice to 'meet' you! It works best if you make this kind of request at Talk:Samuel R. Delany, not sure anyone ever saw this. Also, feel free to contact me directly at User talk:Skyerise. I have to say, I do really love Babel-17, Triton, and Nevèrÿon; and Dhagren is up at the very top of my favorite books list. Skyerise (talk) 12:23, 20 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
