Lake Hodgson[edit]

Hi Sarah

I think the article that is at Lake Hodgson should be moved to Hodgson Lake (its proper name). If you wish to do this then that is great but I don't want to do it as this would be a cut and paste job and not recognise your edits. The reason I cannot move the article along with your edits is because you have created a redirect at Hodgson Lake, this would require an administrator to delete it for the move to take place. The page Lake Hodgson could then become a disambiguation page to both articles. I think this would be a cleaner solution, what do you think? The article should be at Hodgson Lake if it is called "Hodgson Lake". Then the page Lake Hodgson can either be a redirect to Hodgson Lake or better than that a disambiguation page with options to go to the Antarctic or US lakes. Great. Most of this is just wikignome work. I wouldn't usually gnome about the place but I noticed that you had been adding a few NERC links and that drew my attention. That is now around the right way if the lake name is "Hodgson Lake" as in the sources (yes it is I've just checked the SCAR gazetteer). I have changed the top note from 'see also' to 'not to be confused with'. This is because there is no reason for someone looking at a subglacial lake to want to also see a lake in the US. I have changed Lake Hodgson to a disambiguation page. In the future if one lake Hodgson is not more notable than another the way around this is to have an article Lake Hodgson (Antarctica).
