If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Patientco requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Thank you for your recent contributions. Getting started creating new articles on Wikipedia can be tricky, and you might like to try creating a draft of your article in draftspace or in your userspace first, which you can then ask for feedback on if necessary, with less risk of deletion. Do make sure you also read help available to you, including Your First Article and the Tutorial. You might also like to try the Article Wizard, which has an option to create a draft version. Thank you. Redalert2fan (talk) 17:59, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have sent you a note about a page you started[edit]

Hello, Sawerchessread. Thank you for your work on Palestine Writes. JSFarman, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Thanks for writing this article, particularly considering the organization's profile following the 2023 controversy. I edited it to broaden the focus from the controversy to the organization itself; I'm sure there is more that can be added.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|JSFarman}}. Please remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

JSFarman (talk) 20:33, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@JSFarman::
I think the page in general is mostly notable due to the controversy it caused later, especially as being one of the reasons that the UPenn president was forced to resign. Otherwise, there is not as many secondary, independent sources online on the festival by itself, I think.
I'll go and search regardless for information. Sawerchessread (talk) 14:26, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to the Arab–Israeli conflict, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

  • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
  • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
  • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
  • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
  • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Please note that this topic area is under a extended-confirmed restriction, meaning that only editors with the extended confirmed permission are permitted to make edits related to the conflict anywhere on Wikipedia except to make properly formatted edit requests on article talk pages. You will obtain this permission automatically after you have made 500 edits and your account has been open for thirty days.
Thank you for your cooperation.

As a reminder: edits like this one are within the area of conflict as they are related to the Arab-Israeli conflict broadly construed. You should not make such edits until you have obtained the extended confirmed permission, as noted in the message above. — Red-tailed hawk (nest) 16:50, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please be a little less trigger happy with reverting[edit]

I noticed that you reverted my grammar edit to Death of Nex Benedict of all things, before putting it back.

Please be a little less trigger happy with the reverting. You also, in a 24 hour period, twice reverted my addition about pouring water, which violates the 1RR protection. I'm not looking to do anything punitive at this time, but if this type of behavior continues, I will be forced to.

In the meantime, I think it would be right for you to self-revert your water pouring revert, just as you did with the to/and, so I don't have to pursue further action. Peter L Griffin (talk) 01:02, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Peter L Griffin at this point, let's just put in a report for edit warring. I'm setting up a report. You can add in your own diffs of my edit warring.
Let the admins sort this one out. User:Sawerchessread (talk) 01:03, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Alrighty. I'm not sure how you expect this to go, since you have made double reverts (violating 1RR) whereas all of your diffs pertaining to me are single reverts, or normal edits without any reverting. Peter L Griffin (talk) 02:08, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
