@Sayyonee19: Just like you, I happen to like Ally Adnan's journalism and newspaper articles as a music critic. So I went ahead and tried to improve his article that you created recently. I am a retired Pakistani-American engineer living in the US with grown-up kids. I edit Wikipedia as a hobby and also love Pakistani music. Have been doing it for nearly 5 years now. I still need to do some remaining finishing touches on the article which I'll complete shortly. Hopefully, we both can save the article from Deletion. @Ngrewal1: Nice to connect with you here sir. I am still figuring the 'editing' and 'posting' features on Wikipedia so not sure if you will get this message or not. If you do, please let me know. I appreciate your time and effort in saving this article from deletion. I think his work and articles justify an entry here but have been challenged with some of the objections raised by reviewers. As part of my latest edits I included multiple videos and TV program recordings. So let's see if those and your polishing helps. Thanks. sayyonee19

@Sayyonee19: Thanks for the appreciation of my editing work on Ally Adnan. You are the one who deserves most of the credit for leaving me more than 11 reliable sources at your created article to work with. Like you say, I just polished up the article. But I am glad you took it the 'right way' my well-meaning attempt. Even on Wikipedia, I have run into some cynics in the past who take everything 'the wrong way' and do not assume good faith like Wikipedia management wants us to do. Also I have written a Keep for your article for Ally Adnan on the Articles for deletion Discussion Page just now. I also encourage you to keep participating in that Discussion Page to SAVE other good and deserving Pakistan-related articles despite the challenges from the cynics. We have to be bold and not be afraid to write a Keep on that Discussion Page. We should step forward to support each other. @Ngrewal1: I got a chance to look at the article you edited and must say that, though shortened, now most of it can be directly sourced to the articles referenced. This I am sure will help in keeping the article. Additionally, this interview was published recently on Ally Adnan: https://dailytimes.com.pk/147213/music-dance-not-list-five-items-declared-haram/ . Do you think we can incorporate additional information from here into the article. With your experience I would rather you take a look at it first. Additionally what else can we do do move this out of the 'delete' list and get it approved once and for all? sayyonee19

@Ngrewal1: I am not sure why we are running into so much resistance but now Saqib has trimmed the Ally Adnan article down to just 2 lines and 6 references! I am not too experienced on Wikipedia but is this something that's normal? Such scrutiny for a biographical stub has left me confused and scratching my head. I have read many many articles on here with much fewer references and citations. sayyonee19
