Varieties of English on Wikipedia[edit]

Wikipedia accepts different regional spellings in English, and you generally shouldn't change between English and American spellings. Just stick with whatever is used in the article. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:42, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In a case like he social identity theory of course, it's confusing because both "behaviour" and "behavior" are used. It should be consistent, and should use whatever variety was used first, but without digging into the history of the page it's hard to tell. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:44, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
