Copy typist[edit]

Me again! You recently created the page copy typist. However, there's already an entry for data entry clerk which is essentially about the same subject (though the latter is a bit broader). Still, it doesn't make sense to keep separate articles so I've redirected the term "copy typist" to the "data entry clerk" article. You are free and in fact very much encouraged to help construct the short article on data entry clerk. Note that, if you want to re-use it, the content you added to "copy typist" has not disappeared: it can be accessed through the page's edit history. Wikipedia has different pages for American football and Rugby but they are essentially the same :) Before erasing the page please talk to some of your friends who work in these two roles and find out for yourself how different the jobs are.Scottonsocks (talk) 21:55, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Thank you for your edit to the disambiguation page Hub. However, please note that disambiguation pages are not articles; rather, they are meant to help readers find a specific article quickly and easily. From the disambiguation do's and don'ts, you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, which should not end with punctuation
  • Use only one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry, and avoid red links
  • Do not pipe links—keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links
