Ken Williams (born January 13, 1939 in Ferndina Beach, Flordia) is an songwriter, arranger, producer and "Grammy Award winning music publisher. William's is a prolific songwriter with over 350 songs in his music catalog. He garnered early success writing the R&B Classic song "Everybody Play's the Fool Sometimes," recorded by the vocal group The Main Ingredients. Today, Ken Williams is still writing and producing music. In 1968, Williams created A-Dish-A-Tunes,LLC publishing company. A Dish-A-Tunes publishing company is the nucleus behind musical artist Alicia Keyes[1] 2004 R&B Grammy Award for the song "You Don't Know my Name." Producer, Kayne West sampled a Ken Williams song " Bet You Don't Know", the original recorded by The Main Ingredients. A few years later Producer Kayne West used the sample from "You Don't Know my Name," for Lil Wayne platinum selling song "Comfortable." Ken's company received a Grammy Publisher's Certificate for the Alicia Key's song. Ken Wiliams and his wife Mary Seymour (singer, actress and playwright) are the sole owners of their families publishing company. [1]
