Zhonghua minzu consensus?[edit]

Hi, thank you for inviting me to this discussion. I am so tired arguing over a single map and, sorry, I may not be able to contribute much to related discussions. I am trying to contribute more into relatively peaceful and neutral topics like architecture and arts. Gantuya eng 01:13, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DYK[edit]

Updated DYK query On September 11, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Meng Xuenong, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Well done and interesting article. One would have simply presumed he had disappered somewhere. YOu've made a great start here and happy editing, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 07:08, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cctv-9[edit]

You're right. They are impossible to find, and now they've been so overgoogled by Wikipedia mirrors that they are impossible to find. I'll try again. SchmuckyTheCat

Well done for all the work you've put in over the past few days knocking the article into shape — some of that overenthusiastic wikilinking had been caused by Kathleen.wright5 — I reprimanded her on several talk pages and she then went round over-enthusiastically taking stuff out!

I've introduced the concept of grant-in-aid into the first para & given telly licence less prominence, by the way... Zir 09:33, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 09:51, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Slow down a moment.... go and check Shankaracharya page history more carefully. I'm sure it was unintentional, but your "reverting vandalism" deleted two interwiki links and reverted to a version by an account with a history of vandalism. Seektruthfromfacts 09:59, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What happened was that you reverted, made a mistake reverting, put the vandalism back, I reverted, and a big mixup. sorry for the confusion. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 10:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's good that we're resolving this amicably. Can you suggest an alternative method of reversion that I could have used? Seektruthfromfacts 11:20, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You made a mistake that everyone would have made; there were two bad revisions by two separate vandals, I think. I advise that revert mixups are inevitable once in a while; no method I know of can stop this. I am sorry for the warning. Struck. -- Anonymous DissidentTalk 11:23, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Apology accepted; thank you for your politeness and helpful advice. Seektruthfromfacts 11:25, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CPC Congress DYK hook[edit]

I wrote back that your second hook makes the importance of the congress much clearer. No problem. Daniel Case 16:41, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

A new Oxbridge user box[edit]

Seektruthfromfacts...I am currently in the process of writing a user box for all of the colleges that are part of Oxbridge. This template is meant to replace your current college template. Please take a look at the work in progress and comment on it. My main concerns are college abbreviations and color choice. I am using scarf colors for the colleges. Thank you. - LA @ 18:13, 9 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
