"Unnecessarily biased" edit in the SLUS article[edit]

What I wrote is factually correct and what was previously there implied falsely that ridership during the first year was medium or high when it was low. What it makes the Streetcar out to look like is irrelevent. No matter what our feelings towards mass transit, the South Lake Union Streetcar etc., it is necessary to write the facts objectively.

Also, I hope you will be wary of labeling an edit without justification. If you thought there was something innacurate with the edit then please point out precisely what it is. If you feel an article or section of an article is biased in one direction then find and add information from reliable sources for the opposite point of view. Thanks and happy editing. By "low" I was referring to any informal assessment by ordinary people. A bus, train, etc which is 90% below capacity has low ridership. If formalization is necessary than it could said to be compared to average U.S or international tram ridership as pct. of capacity, etc. but to insist on that would just be nitpicky and fill the article with needless jargon for something that is just implicitly obvious.

So I don't see low or lower as POV. My first thought for the edit, "low...still lower" and other similar would, I think, be introducing a tone which would be POV. Diderot's dreams (talk) 19:04, 23 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
