ArbCom 2017 election voter message[edit]

Hello, SethAdam99. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Request reason:

I personally sincerely apologize for offending User:Majora, offending him was not intended as to me it was at the time a retaliation towards him for insulting my work, time, effort and contributions by reverting them constantly and giving uncalled remarks, such as calling my work a "blob" and "useless" while other users have no problem with it and at the heap of the time I took it as an insult and started reverting it back with "your mom" jokes" followed by his words "blob" and "useless", which was uncalled for from my behalf and I shouldn't have insulted him or any users PERIOD. I would like to also apologize to you User:NeilN for the inconvenience caused and hope you can reconsider the indefinite block as I think that I deserve a less harsh of a punishment like a fixed term block for my actions, because besides my previous history, I am here to help contribute to the encyclopaedia as it is a hobby of mine and not vandalize it PERIOD. Decline reason:

It would be inappropriate to lift the block at this time. You claim you didn't mean to offend Majora, but that was clearly your intent. Further, this is not the first time you've had problems of this sort. You've been previously blocked multiple times and have repeatedly engaged in personal attacks. You have totally failed to convince me this time is any different from other times, that we can trust this time, you'll never engage in personal attacks again. I think your best hope now is to apply under WP:SO. That requires six months with zero edits (via this account or any other, including via IP addresses), and then you can come back and explain why we can now trust you will never engage in personal attacks again. Assuming you avoid any further editing and assuming you make a reasonable case that those six months have allowed you to mature, I think there'd be a very strong possibility of being unblocked at that time.
