It was great to see this article - it seems to be the first article on a Slovenian monastery, and there are not very many articles on Carthusian monasteries compared to e.g., the Cistercians. So, well done. I feel awkward about editing it so quickly after you created it, which you may well have found irritating, for which I am sorry, but I was worried that unless it was put into order very quickly it risked being deleted - Wikipedia is a very trigger-happy place at the moment, and I thought this was too important an article to take any risks with. Best wishes, HeartofaDog (talk) 23:25, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I've nominated Seiz Charterhouse, an article you worked on, for consideration to appear on the Main Page as part of Wikipedia:Did you know. You can see the hook for the article at Template talk:Did you know#Articles created/expanded on August 15, where you can improve it if you see fit. If you have refs supporting Seiz Charterhouse as "the oldest monastery in Slovenia" and "for having one of the oldest pharmacies on the territory of Slovenia", please add to the article as footnotes. Many thanks, PFHLai (talk) 21:11, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Josip Križaj, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://aces.safarikovi.org/victories/yugoslavia-sp.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Hello. I have restored the template to this article. If you wish to propose new text, please do so in the temporary space as the directions indicate. While I appreciate that you're making an effort to rewrite the text, copyright concerns must be rewritten from scratch to avoid creating an unauthorized derivative work.
Rewriting requires completely original language, unless brief quotations are used in accordance with WP:NFC. Your revised version, I'm afraid, remained a close paraphrase of the work, including duplicated text such as "After the return from Spain he settled in Zemun, Serbia" and "Here he got married and survived" and "In 1944 he entered the newly established". Altering material such as "He died on 8th October 1948, when he crashed with his Yak-9 on the slopes of Sneznik mountain" to "He died on 8th October 1948, when he crashed with his Yak-9 in foggy weather into the Snežnik mountain" does not escape copyright. You may find Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing helpful in addressing these concerns. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 15:22, 15 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated List of Slovene Argentines, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Slovene Argentines. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

A tag has been placed on Category:Scout Activity Centres in Italy requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Liz Read! Meatsgains(talk) 02:05, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Shabicht - you created quite some confusion, I'd say:
(a) The single-sentence article Austrian Southern Railway is completely superfluous, because there is already an article Southern Railway (Austria) for that railway line. The article needs to be deleted; or, more probably, made a redirection because of the following:
(b) Also, at least some links are now wrong; for example, in Southern Railway (Austria) there is a link to Austrian Southern Railway which references the company; you destroyed the semantics of all such links. If you really want to change Austrian Southern Railway to Austrian Southern Railway Company, you should create a redirection until such links are modified; or modify all them yourself.
(c) The "Talk" link of that single-sentence article somehow redirects to the Talk page of "Austrian Southern Railway Company", therefore i's impossible to comment on your new article; but as the article needs to be deleted anyway, that's not a big problem.
H.M. --User:Haraldmmueller 07:30, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
It's getting worse: Your last edit is not a content edit; and it has another typo in it. That's, as far as I know, not the way to create articles in WP: You can write a draft in your user space that should at least have somewhat more contents than a single sentence in it. If you leave the article like that, I'll add a "to be deleted" marker. --User:Haraldmmueller 07:43, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello --User:Haraldmmueller and Meatsgains - thank you for your opinion! I'd like to say:
(a) You finally have to look more globally, English and German Wikipedia are the only one that had the articles about Austrian part of Austrian Southern Railway only, but the line never ended at Slovenian border but in Trieste! I suggest to enyone to fullfill the new article "Austrian Southern Railway" about Slovenia and Italy also (and not the other lines of Austrian Sudbahn Gesselschaft) like they wanted to, and to you not to delete it! The articles about entire Austrian Southern Railroad exist in Slovenian and Italian Wikipedia for a long time, but they could't beeen connected with others correctly!!
(b) I got a big complain from German wikipedists because there was no space for an article about entire Austrian Southern Railway (and not about Austrian part only), couse there was article "Austrian Southern Railway " (Austrian Sudbahn) before (not the line but company). Only after my complains they finnaly renamed it into "Sudbahn-Gesellschaft". I have a big support from Slovenian wikipedists about corrections also!
(c) I had big troubles about correct categorisation of the all articles in four different languages (English, Slovene, German, Italian), (just try it!) so I please you to understand that I cannot make everything like anyone wanted to be! --User:Shabicht 09:13, 4 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
(a) You finally have to look more globally, - I certainly think more globally than you. No need to believe that you are more international. That's why I say what you want is ok.
(b) - fine.
(c) - so? There's no need to keep all WPs consistent - that's a wrong belief. If this is your hobby, do it - but please do not destroy links and grammar along the way.

Problem with your custom signature[edit]

You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your preferences are set to interpret your custom signature as wikitext. However, your current custom signature does not contain any wikitext.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box. (It might already be empty.)
  4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
  1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
  2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
  3. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page.

More information about custom signatures is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. 19:04, 3 September 2020 (UTC)
