2010 Women's Pan-American Volleyball Cup[edit]

Hello ShadowMkf, I reverted the edits because they contain some errors with no definite pattern. I agree that the standard adopted is what the article tried to, but not all follow the format ([1] [2]). I have nothing against "Vb res start" definitely, but that article is ready. Good work! Keep working[edit]

Greetings my dear Peruvian friend, I really appreciate your hard work. I have been reviewing your work and seems you are improving your editing. Since I had being editing by my own since years ago, I would like you to recommend you take some breaks and read some guidelines you will find interesting. This will just turn you a better editor. You are good dealing with some basic information on articles, lists and infoboxes, but there is more beyond that. Your goal should be to write just featured articles!

I would strongly recommend you to read:

- You need to improve:

  • Referencing: Learn how to make multi ref. Also, the cite ref, like cite book,
  • Using sandboxes and test with the show preview button, so you do not edit the same that much, but improve with importance (size and mean) in every edit of that article.
  • Tag the talk in articles you create. Tag them with basic WikiProjects banners, so Wikiprojects member come by and them with the appropriate quality and importance.
  • Add significance text to your articles, not just list of awards and basic info in the lead.
  • And you should try to avoid spending so much time editing, but pay attention, taking you away time from your regular work, studying or spending time with your family and friends. Here in Wikipedia, want you to stay in good health.

Please return to your previous created articles and make them better, article should not stay frozen, but you have to notice that articles created by you, are not owned by you as the creator, but are public domain and should be, (and will) be edited by others.

Thank your spending time here in Wikipedia, and feel free to make yourself familiar with other Wikimedia Foundation family projects. Oscar 04:46, 13 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, you still adding unreferenced content to articles, you should try to do better. You recently added "a record-setting 10 times..." to the Brenda Castillo article. Do you have a reference to reliable source were you can cite this? Probably not, and I am removing that, and referencing the awards you just added, as always. Try to work with a more complete comminment to quality work. Osplace 18:29, 21 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Clarivett Yllescas, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Chincha (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Thanks for creating 2010 Men's Junior South American Volleyball Championship, ShadowMkf!

Would you check the revision I made to ensure that was what you intended to say? Thanks.

Hey ShadowMkf, what you have made here and here make no sense since the section you have modified clearly says "as of the 2012 FIVB World Grand Prix". I am not intended to fix that, but it would be better for you fix it, making the article staying encyclopedic as Wikipedia should be, since for example, Sidarka Núñez was not playing for Universidad César Vallejo "as of the 2012 FIVB World Grand Prix". In this article, you have added a reference that should be in a prose section. Are you afraid of prose? Do your best and keep working. Osplace 01:16, 1 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:Sollys Volleyball logo.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Sollys Volleyball logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 20:03, 6 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Violeta Delgado requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content or organised event, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Osplace 18:02, 6 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was checking the article you have recently created for the Peruvian volleybal player Karla Ortiz. I would like you to take a look to this guideline. Is important because you need to clarify yourself what it suppose to be at the beginning of every article. Then, notice that article are suppose to be written in prose, otherwise they probably would work better as lists, like List of awards and nominations received by Plácido Domingo. You have two references related to her participation in with Boston, create a Career section, and ad the content related to the Boston participation there, then link the references to that part of the article. Everything stated in the article should be cited, because is a biography of a living person, if not cited the content must be deleted. You need to add a prose section of her career and find references of everything there: like every bronze medal won in the South American Championship. I really like your editing, you are very determined. Please upgrade your editing and will be even better editor. Thanks. Osplace 04:24, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Soccer - Volleyball[edit]

Hey, we seems to collide sometimes, just because we both are interested in volleyball. In this articles: 2013 Liga Nacional Juvenil de Voleibol Femenino and 2013 Liga Nacional Menor de Voleibol Femenino you keep linking Peruvian Association football clubs to those article. This is incorrect because is misleading. It means that a casual reader clicking those links interested in further information about those clicks will be surprised to find those are soccer clubs. You are not even using CV Universidad César Vallejo nor CV Universidad de San Martín de Porres articles, but the soccer ones! I did not know about those Peruvian Junior tournaments, is interesting. But your articles, as you can check here, is an Orphan. But you can improve those articles providing links from other articles. How? For example, editing Liga Nacional Superior de Voleibol, Federación Peruana de Voleibol, all the clubs involved (volleyball articles, like CV Universidad César Vallejo) with the appropriate information related to every of those organizations. Is just a suggestion. Another one is providing information about what happened (who won, top three, ...) in those tournament in the WP:LEAD. Osplace 22:58, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

CV Unversidad Cesar Vallejo[edit]

What you have done here, is an example of lack of reading. Wikipedia is public. A wide audience reads the articles. Anyone reading any given article cannot be suppose to be an expert. Thats why we include criteria for such lists, as the tag says: "This list of "famous" or "notable" sporting persons has no clear inclusion or exclusion criteria. Please help to define clear inclusion criteria and edit the list to contain only subjects that fit those criteria." On the other hand, I am glad that you have created CV Deportivo Géminis. But you forgot about creating a History section with some of the most important club's awards. If you include a section in the body with text and references, then you do not need to reference the lead. The other sections, current squad, and list of awards, should not be cited if cited in the body, I mean a section with prose stating this awards. Keep working, I hope we can create all Peruvian clubs of this season. I Promise I will help you. Osplace 04:50, 11 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
