Thanks for uploading Image:Flight of a Sita Mata jungle Flying Squirrel.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Your photo of the Namdapha Flying Squirrel[edit]
I just saw your photo of the Namdapha Flying Squirrel that you have uploaded. It is a very nice photo. But, I doubt if this flying squirrel can be identified just by its flight. I would just put it as a Flying squirrel in flight rather than a definitive id as the Namdapha Flying Squirrel. Of course, if you have other reasons to have identified this as this species, it would be good to add this note into the comments. prashanthns (talk) 17:30, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
