I also notice that you say that this is someone you know. It's certainly alright to add information about someone that you are acquainted with, but be careful that you are objective and neutral. Editing about someone that you know could create a 'conflict of interest' in your editing and that's something that Wikipedia takes very seriously. Be sure that you are editing in a neutral way. :) From what I saw, you're doing great.
