Welcome to Wikipedia![edit]

Dear Shehzadashiq: Welcome to Wikipedia, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Very few of us are! Just in case you are not perfect, click here to see how you can avoid making common mistakes.

If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user talk (discussion) page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. A third option is to ask a more experienced user such as an administrator.

One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes (~~~~). The software will automatically convert this into your signature which can be altered in the "Preferences" tab at the top of the screen. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to tell us about yourself and be BOLD!  --NAHID 17:32, 30 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Korea[edit]

I'm not entirely sure what you mean; I don't see any obvious problem myself. I reverted because the changes you made were pushing the text away from the top of the article, leaving a big white empty space. PC78 17:47, 24 July 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Warnings from trolls and sock puppets[edit]

It seems that you and I got some wiki warning badges from edjit's edjit trolls and sock puppets :) I don't know if they are capapble of using their top floor called as mind in human language but I do feel sorry for them. Do you have any idea what countermeasure needs to be taken? Wassallam Muamshai 07:03, 4 August 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Altaf Hussain & MQM[edit]

Hello, I hope that I am using a correct format to leave messages on User Talks. The articles related to Altaf Hussain and MQM are under consistent vandalism. For example, some individual posts Mr. Hussain's photo as well as an interview under MQM article.

Also, there are a few lines in Mr. Hussain's article that need fact-checking or [citation needed] markup. For example, "Altaf Hussain's grandfather was the city Mufti of Agra, and a well known scholar of Islam. Mrs. Khursheed Begum's father Hafiz Rahim Baksh was also well respected in the religious and scholarly circles in the world-famous city."

I am unable to find any independent link that can verify such claims.

Thanks :)

The prevailing tone on Altaf Hussain & MQM pages is negative, and the structure is a hodge podge of accusations against MQM and Altaf Hussain. If you want to make them neutral, then I can help. I have been studying MQM for the past 14 years. M12390 13:33, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You continue to spew hate against MQM and Altaf Hussain. Who are you and what is your agenda? 67.87.38.131 20:38, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Shehzadashiq: I suggested the sub-conditions, primarily as a more focused gameplan. If you agree to the above gameplan, and convince Muamshai to stop whining, then we can definitely work together and hopefully have better readable pages, not only on MQM and Altaf Hussain, but other important pages related to Pakistan. Thanks. M12390 16:34, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Hi, Shehzadashiq. Image:AltafHussainSmallPic.jpg was tagged with {{no copyright holder}} on 1 August, and later that day, you removed that tag, and replaced it with {{PD-Because|Released for public use on website mqm.org}}.[1] Because of that, it escaped deletion. I've had a look at http://www.mqm.org and I can't see anything that indicates that that image is in the public domain. Could you point me to the URL of the exact page that says that, please? Thanks.
